Abstract

A method at a combined ventilation and heating system especially for dwellings and adjusted according to a need wherein the venting air to the separate rooms is fed by separate means for incoming air combined with water containing radiators having a big surface and of the cross flow type, whereby the heat effect transferred to the air by the radiators at a reached and pre-set comfort level is of an order essentially corresponding to the transmission losses. The invention is characterised in that after a temporary decrease of the indoor temperature the incoming air being conducted in the air channels is passing heat exchanger means connected to a heat accumulator or to a high temperature side of a combustion plant prior to being fed into the room.

Description

A method and means at a combined ventilation and heating system preferably for dwellings and adjusted according to a need
The present invention relates to a method and means at combined ventilation and heating system for buildings adjusted according to a need.
The development of an efficient combustion technique with an advanced cooling of exhaust gases and with the possibility to connect alternative energy heat sources, e.g. heat from the sun (maybe with the use of heat stores charged in the daytime) at modest temperatures has not been followed up by any simple and competitive techniques using this low temperature heat. The control of the ventilation and heat according to a need means that a lowering of the ventilation and the heat shall take place when a dwelling or a commercial local is not in use. To make this work practically it is necessary to obtain a booster effect to gain a rapid heating of a local a short time before its use.
The main object of the present invention is to obtain a technique allowing a very rapid increase in temperature in a room to a comfortable level with an effect being momentary far above the effect being able to obtain continually on a long term basis. This is obtained by use of relatively small temperature differences between the heat transferring surfaces and the indoor air to heat the indoor air mainly corresponding to the transfer losses in radiator elements of a flowing cross type which are cross flown by a heat carrier having a proportionately low temperature. By doing this the use of a technique using the heat of the sun and/or geothermal energy (maybe in connection to a heat pump) is facilitated with equipment for ventilation and heating of dwellings.
E.g. a simple and efficient gas burner or a separate heat sink in connection to a heat plant can be arranged in a duct for incoming air for a momentary large transfer of energy with the aim to significant and in a short time increase the temperature in one or several rooms of the building to a comfortable level.
Normally the venting air to each room will pass radiator elements of cross flow type. This will give a satisfactory heat transfer also at moderate differences in temperatures between a heat carrier or a cool carrier and the crossflowing venting air, respectively. The room climatization ability will be very effective since the radiator elements of cross flow type are arranged in such a way that an ejector effect is obtained, i.e. besides of the incoming air also an essential part of the indoor air will be carried through the radiator elements.
Yet another object of the invention is to obtain a technique for heating by water flown radiators of cross flow type where the total volume of a heat carrier in a circulating system is extremely low with the object to lower the risk of water damages when leakage occurs in the system.
The objects stated above would be obtained according to the present invention by the characterising clauses mentioned in the following claims.
The invention will be explained below in connection to a shown embodiment, where
Fig. 1 is a diagrammatic end view of an air blowing heat exchange arrangement with an equally distributed airflow out,
Fig. 2 is an end view according to fig. 1 but where a part of the outblowing portion has been screened of, and where
Fig. 3 is a diagrammatic side view of the heat exchanger arrangement according to fig. 1. Thus in fig. 1 a pressure chamber 1 with ejecting means 2, an opening for sucking the air 3 into the room, a heat exchanging arrangement 4 which momentarily can emit very large heat power, and a permeable textile material 5 are shown.
Fig. 2 shows how the permeable material 5 is screened off by a layer or a screen arranged to guide the major flow over the second surface of the textile material 5.
In fig. 3 a pressure chamber 1 with a connection of pipes 6 or hoses
7 for incoming air for a heat carrying fluid, often water, and with a socket
8 for connection of a computer 9, etc and a jack for a telephone 10 are shown.
The invention is not restricted to the above shown embodiment, but modifications can be made within the scope of the following claims.
