Abstract

The invention relates to a screw connection for receiving and connecting protective tubes, especially corrugated hoses, with a tubular adapter by means of a clamped joint. Said adapter has an outer thread on one end and springs that are distributed along its periphery and are located parallel to the axis thereof. The adapter is further provided with a screw cap that is screwed onto the outer thread. Said screw cap is provided with an annular beveled section at the end where the pipe enters. Said beveled section radially forces the springs inwards against the tube when the screw cap is screwed onto the adapter. The terminal part (5) is provided with an annular section (18) in the interior in the vicinity of the bases of the springs (10). A tubular ring seal (19) is fixed between this section and the free end of the springs (10).
