Description

The present invention relates to packaging for components of a fixing pin obtained by chemical reaction. It is known to use fixing dowels, for carrying out the fixing of objects or devices, in particular on walls.
The most used anchors are the plastic anchors, which are engaged in a hole in a wall, and which deform to become blocked in the wall under the action of a screw for fixing the object or the 'device considered.
It is already known, in particular for carrying out the fixing of large sanitary appliances, to use fixing dowels obtained by chemical reaction.
Such an anchor is obtained by in situ mixing of several components which react on each other to form a polymerization-crosslinking reaction with, in certain cases, a phase expansion intended to increase the field of application of such anchors.
A first solution consists in mixing the different components using a gun which is used to introduce them into a hole. It is also known to package the various components in bags comprising two separate compartments one inside the other. However, this solution is difficult to implement, in particular as regards the filling of the pockets, and does not ensure a perfect mixing of the components inside the bore.
The object of the invention is to provide a packaging for components of a fixing dowel obtained by chemical reaction, which allows the user to handle the packaging without risk of contact with the components, which can be introduced directly into a bore. , without requiring a specific tool or accessory, the dosage of which corresponds to only one dowel, which avoids the losses occurring during the use of a gun, and which allows good contacting of the different components for carrying out the polymerization-crosslinking and possibly expansion operation, if this is planned. To this end, the packaging that it relates to, comprises a sheet of impervious material in which are formed at least two parallel cells containing components intended to react with each other, when placed in contact, the cells being closed in a leaktight manner by a sheet forming a cover, and being separated from each other by fold lines allowing the various compartments thus formed to be folded down on one another with a view to their introduction into a bore in a wall in which dowel should be used. This packaging is simple to carry out, since it is obtained from two sheets, one of which has the cells and the other of which forms the cover. The cells being widely open, their filling can be carried out simply and quickly before sealing. In addition, the fact that the various compartments are folded over one another in order to obtain a packaging of generally circular section, facilitates the handling of the packaging as well as its installation in a bore of corresponding diameter.
After installation in this drilling, the introduction of a fixing screw of an apparatus or the like ensures the tearing of the walls of the various compartments and, consequently, the bringing into contact of the various components thus allowing the initiation and the development of the chemical reaction.
According to an advantageous embodiment, this packaging comprises three cells, the first two of which are adjacent, have a substantially semi-circular cross section and the third of which, adjacent to one of the first two cells, has a flattened shape and is of depth less than that of the first two cells. Given the respective proportions of the various components, the first two cells, of substantially semi-circular cross section, contain the polymer, the filler, the accelerator, and possibly one of the components of the blowing agent. The third cell of smaller volume contains the initiator of the reaction, and possibly a second component of the blowing agent.
According to one embodiment of this packaging, the sheet in which the cells are formed and the sheet forming a cover, are made of synthetic material. The sheet with the alveoli can, in such a case, be shaped simply and quickly by thermoforming.
The sheet in which the cells are formed and the sheet forming a cover can be made of monolayer material, or of multilayer material. In the case of a multilayer material, a polyethylene-polyethylene terephthalate-polyethylene complex can be used.
In the case of a monolayer material, a sheet of polyethylene terephthalate can be used, this material having the advantage of being waterproof, of being brittle and therefore easily destructible during the introduction of a screw, in order to achieve the mixture of components, and can be welded at relatively low temperatures, for example by ultrasound, knowing that the temperature of the conditioned components must not exceed 70 ° C in order to avoid their degradation.
This packaging can be used alone, or can be engaged in an openwork sleeve, itself intended to be engaged in a hole in a wall in which a dowel is to be used. The latter solution is advantageous, especially in the case of hollow material, and when the anchor is an expanding anchor. Indeed, the openings in the sleeve allow the material to be channeled, avoiding uncontrolled migration of the latter.
De toute façon, l'invention sera bien comprise, à l'aide de la description qui suit, en référence au dessin schématique annexé représentant, à titre d'exemple non limitatif, une forme d'exécution de ce conditionnement : Figure 1 est une vue en perspective de ce conditionnement à plat ;Anyway, the invention will be clearly understood, with the aid of the description which follows, with reference to the appended schematic drawing representing, by way of nonlimiting example, an embodiment of this packaging: FIG. 1 is a perspective view of this flat packaging;
Figure 2 en est une vue en coupe transversale, le conditionnement étant toujours à plat ;Figure 2 is a cross-sectional view, the packaging being always flat;
Figure 3 en est une vue en coupe transversale après pliage des différents compartiments les uns sur les autres ;Figure 3 is a cross-sectional view after folding the different compartments on top of each other;
Figure 4 est une vue en coupe longitudinale d'une portion d'un mur comportant un perçage, dans lequel a été introduit le conditionnement selon l'invention ;Figure 4 is a longitudinal sectional view of a portion of a wall having a bore, into which the packaging according to the invention has been introduced;
Figure 5 is a view similar to Figure 4 after introduction of the screw and expansion of the synthetic material; Figure 6 is a view similar to that of Figure 5 in the case where the packaging has previously been housed in a perforated sleeve.
In the embodiment shown in the drawing, the packaging comprises a first sheet 2, made of polyethylene terephthalate, in which three cells 3, 4 and 5 have been formed by thermoforming. The cells 3 and 4, which are adjacent and identical, have each a substantially semi-circular cross section. The third cell 5 has, for its part, a flattened shape and a depth substantially less than that of the first two cells. The first two cells are intended to contain a polymer, a filler, an accelerator, and an element of a blowing agent. The cell 5 is intended to contain the initiator of the reaction as well as the other element of the blowing agent. The different cells are separated from each other by fold lines 6. The assembly is closed by a sheet of polyethylene terephthalate 7, fixed in a sealed manner by ultrasonic welding, by isolating the compartments 3, 4 and 5 from each other. other. After closing, the compartments are folded, compartment 5 being folded over compartment 4, and compartment 3 being folded over compartment 5. This gives the packaging as shown in FIG. 3, which has a section which is substantially circular. This packaging can be engaged in a bore 8 formed in a wall 9 comprising cells 10, as is the case, for example, for a brick wall.
La figure 4 représente le conditionnement après qu'il ait été introduit dans le perçage 8.FIG. 4 represents the packaging after it has been introduced into the bore 8.
Figure 5 shows that the introduction of a screw 1 2 ensures the destruction of the wall of the various compartments and, consequently, the contacting of the various components allowing the initiation and the conduct of a chemical polymerization reaction- crosslinking and also of material expansion, resulting in a certain volume thereof designated by the reference 13 inside the cells 10 of the wall.
This sleeve is equipped with a flange 1 6 coming to bear against the outer face of the wall. During the operation of polymerization-crosslinking accompanied by expansion, the material is channeled through the openings 1 5.
As is apparent from the above, the invention brings a great improvement to the existing technique, by providing packaging for components of a fixing dowel obtained by chemical reaction, of simple structure, in which the various compartments can be filled and dosed quickly, and in a practical form for the user by having substantially the section of the hole in which it must be engaged. As it goes without saying, the invention is not limited to the sole embodiment of this packaging, described above by way of example, on the contrary it embraces all variants. Thus, in particular, this packaging could be made of an aluminum-based material, without thereby departing from the scope of the invention.
