Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de communication sous-marine, un dispositif y relatif, et un système permettant une communication bidirectionnelle entre des plongeurs. Conformément à l'invention, des messages peuvent être transmis et reçus entre/ et parmi les plongeurs, dans un réseau et/ou entre des plongeurs et un bateau de plongée, une bouée ou autre point de référence. L'invention permet également qu'un ou plusieurs plongeurs reçoivent un signal de radioralliement et se déplacent en direction de la source de ce signal au moyen d'une fonction de poursuite et d'acquisition utilisant un effet Doppler et, de préférence un compas, pour déterminer la direction de la source du signal. L'invention permet également qu'un plongeur en détresse émette un signal de détresse (c'est-à-dire un SOS) reçu par tout autre plongeur se trouvant à une distance prédéterminée du plongeur en détresse. Les plongeurs recevant les signaux de détresse sont alors en mesure de localiser le plongeur en détresse et de venir à son secours au moyen de la fonction de poursuite et d'acquisition.
