Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Kettenelement für eine kurvengängige Förderkette mit einer Tragplatte (1), die an gegenüberliegenden Stirnkanten (8, 9) mit Gelenkaugen (3, 4) versehen ist, durch die mittels Verbindungsbolzen jeweils mit den Gelenkaugen benachbarter Kettenelemente Gelenke gebildet werden und mit einem unterhalb der Tragplatte (1) in Längsrichtung (Pfeil 7) der Förderkette ausgerichteten Führungsteil (2), der für die Gelenke an einem Ende ein Einzelauge (3) und am anderen Ende zwei mit Abstand zueinander angeordnete Parallelaugen (4) aufweist, wobei wenigstens eine quer zur Längsrichtung (7) ausgerichtete Stirnkante (8, 9) der Tragplatte (1) abgewinkelt ausgebildet ist, beide Stirnkanten (8, 9) der Tragplatte jeweils bis in den Bereich oberhalb der Achsen (10) des zugeordneten Gelenks erstrecken und an der den Parallelaugen (4) zugeordneten Stirnkante (8) zu beiden Seiten der Parallelaugen (4) nach außen bis an die Seitenkanten (14) der Tragplatte (1) reichende Abdeckstege (15) angeordnet sind, die sich bis unter die Tragplatte des benachbarten Kettenelementes erstrecken.
