Abstract

Cette invention concerne des procédés permettant de produire une résine à échange d'ions qui est saturée en iode et qui peut être utilisée dans la stérilisation et l'iodation d'eau consommable. D'après ce procédé, le processus de production de résine à échange d'ions à base de pentaiodure se déroule à une température de 40 à 50° C. La saturation d'une résine à base de triiodure en une résine à base de pentaiodure se fait en dosant une quantité calculée d'iode cristallin pendant 3 à 5 heures et en effectuant un mélange continu, puis en maintenant la résine dans une solution aqueuse pendant 40 à 65 heures. Ce procédé permet de réduire les pertes en résine par décomposition lors de la synthèse de la résine iodée, ce qui permet de réduire les pertes en iode et d'empêcher la pollution des eaux à traiter par les produits issus de la décomposition de la résine.
