Abstract

The invention concerns a mobile furniture device for space management, comprising two outer enclosing parts (1, 2) mobile relatively to each other, said parts being capable of being assembled in a storage position, to form together a hollow container defining within a closed volume wherein are housed several items of furniture. The invention is characterised in that at least one of the furniture items is mobile (6-13) and independent of said parts, and said parts comprise a housing (4, 5) opening onto the side wall and shaped for receiving at least partly said mobile component, said housing being designed to be closed by another of said enclosing parts to close inside said container the set of said furniture items, said mobile item being capable of being removed or spaced by rolling said housing, into a position for use, wherein the enclosing parts are extended.

Description

ROLLING FURNITURE DEVICE FOR MANAGING A SPACE

The present invention relates to a rolling furniture device for the management of a space, intended in particular for the enterprise or for housing.

German patent application N ° 19524130 describes a rolling enclosure made up of two main envelope parts hinged together, one of said parts having lower and upper panels, so that the enclosure can be completely closed, said parts being able to pivot relative to each other, to allow access, in the open position, to electronic data processing equipment placed on sliding shelves in the enclosure.

Also known from German patent application No. 19512712, a rolling work station comprising a folding body consisting of two longitudinal parts connected by a transverse wall, by means of hinged connections extending vertically, said body comprising a plurality of work surfaces capable of sliding or tilting, in the unfolded position of the work station.

However, these known devices do not make it possible to group and store different components of furniture, such as tables, storage boxes, seats, display panels, cupboards, floor lamps, etc., in order to concentrate these different components in a minimum volume., to free up space, outside periods of use. The object of the invention is to eliminate the aforementioned drawbacks and to provide a rolling furniture device for managing a space, which makes it possible to quickly and easily group together several components in a minimum volume, and which makes it possible to quickly and easily distribute these same components when used. To this end, the subject of the invention is a rolling furniture device for managing a space, comprising at least two parts of the outer casing which are movable relative to one another, said casing parts being suitable for be assembled in a storage position, to constitute together a hollow container defining inside a closed volume in which are housed a plurality of furniture components, characterized in that at least one of the furniture components is rolling and independent of said envelope parts, and in that at least one of said envelope parts comprises a housing open on a side wall and of a shape adapted to at least partially receive said rolling component, said housing being intended to be closed by another of said envelope parts to enclose in the container all of said furniture components, said rolling component being able to be extracted and moved apart by rolling the aforementioned housing, in a position of use, in which the envelope parts are deployed.

Advantageously, said envelope parts are rolling, independent and separable from each other, in the position of use. In a particular embodiment, at least two of said envelope parts each have a housing capable of receiving respectively only a portion of a component of rolling furniture to be enclosed in the container, in the storage position.

Preferably, the housing of each envelope part at least partially matches the shape of a rolling furniture component.

According to another characteristic of the invention, the device comprises a plurality of components of movable furniture which are able to fit at least partially into each other inside the closed volume of the container, in the storage position. In this case, the device can include at least two nesting rolling tables. The device may also include at least one rolling table, the feet and / or the tray of which is capable of being inserted into interstices between portions of other furniture components, fixed or rolling, in the storage position.

For example, the tray of the rolling table is able to be inserted between a low rolling or fixed storage box and high storage shelves fixed to an envelope part. The table on the rolling table can also cover the seat of a seat, see the arms of an armchair, or even the back of a seat. According to yet another characteristic, the envelope parts can form a screen, a storage cabinet, a cloakroom or a display panel.

For example, the components of rolling furniture can be constituted by floor lamps, partitions, changing rooms, storage boxes, cupboards, stools, chairs, armchairs, sofas or others.

Advantageously, at least one of the rolling furniture components comprises a portion capable of engaging in a slot of complementary shape on a casing part, for positioning said component in the housing of said casing part, in the position storage.

According to yet another characteristic, the device comprises at least one rolling table, the tray of which is provided with a slot capable of fitting onto two adjacent side walls of two envelope parts belonging to the same furniture device, or to different furniture devices. , in order to ensure a connection between the envelope parts, in the position of use.

In Figure 1 there is shown a movable device consisting of two envelope parts 1, 2 having an overall semi-cylindrical shape, which are joined against one another, by their diametrical planar face. Each envelope part 1, 2 has rollers 3 at its base, making it possible to move each part by rolling on the ground, independently of one another.

As best seen in FIG. 1A, the envelope part 1 has a semi-cylindrical recess or recess 4 extending up to mid-height of the envelope part 1. The recess 4 is open on its bottom and on the diametrical flat face of part 1. The upper portion 1a of part 1 is used for storage. The envelope part 2 comprises a semi-cylindrical internal housing 5 which extends over the entire height of the part 2 and opens out at both its bottom and its top. The housing 5 is also open on the diametrical flat face of the envelope part 2 over the entire height. The envelope part 1 is intended to receive in its semi-cylindrical niche 4 both a low storage box 6 on casters having substantially the shape of a quarter cylinder and a wheelchair 7, the low storage box 6 and the chair 7 being each housed in half of the niche 4. The furniture device of FIG. 1 is intended to contain two nesting tables 8, 9 each having a tray in the form of a circular disc 8a, 9a mounted on three legs 8b, 9b. The rolling table 9 has a plate 9a of diameter smaller than that of the plate 8a, and feet 9b having a height less than that of the feet 8b, so that the table 9 can be retracted completely under the table 8. All of the two rolling tables 8, 9 in the nested position, is housed half in the niche 4 of the envelope part 1. Consequently, the plates 8a and 9a of the two tables 8, 9 are able to cover the low storage box 6 and the seat 7a of the seat 7. The other envelope part 2 constitutes a screen and is intended to receive a lamp 10 mounted on a vertical stand 10a carried by a base on casters 10b, a video display wall with a circular arc profile 11, a cloakroom on casters 12 having an upper portion 12a in the form of a quarter cylinder and a lower portion with an arcuate profile, and a wheelchair with a semi-circular profile 13. The lamp 10 is adjustable in height and has lighting from below for illuminate the tables and the interior of the device and top lighting to illuminate the workspace. The armchair 13 is intended to be inserted under the upper portion of the cloakroom 12 and the lamp 10. The cloakroom 12 follows the shape of the panel 11. The tables 8, 9 are inserted for the other half in the envelope part 2, with the plates 8a, 9a which are inserted between the back of the chair 13 and the upper portion of the cloakroom 12.

As best seen in FIG. 1B, the tables 8, 9 follow the shape of the housings 4, 5 of the envelope parts 1, 2 and come to fit partially in each of the two envelope parts, so that in position storage, the envelope parts 1, 2 form a rolling container defining inside an enclosed volume in which are housed multiple components of rolling furniture 6 to 13.

Although this is not shown, the casing parts 1, 2 can be provided with a locking means, for releasably attaching the two parts 1, 2 together, in the storage position.

The various furniture components 6 to 13 can also be provided with a detachable fixing means, for example magnetic parts, intended to come against magnetic parts combined in the housings 4, 5 of the parts 1, 2, in order to allow an easily releasable connection of the movable components in parts 1, 2. Of course, the means of the detachable magnetic fixings could be replaced by any other suitable fixing means.

The user can open the device at will and extract the furniture components that are useful to him, then close the device containing the other components. Thus, the filling state of the device may vary over time.

In addition, such a device facilitates the transport and storage of the furniture components, since a large number of furniture components can be delivered inside the device which also serves as protective packaging. The overall dimensions of the furniture components are also optimized in this type of device. Thus, the manufacturer can, by grouping similar devices save space. The transporter may provide large boxes, of the bottle box type, to store the devices in height in the trucks, by stacking. Once arrived at the destination, the devices can be delivered on pallets and deposited in one piece without being dismantled. In addition, the furniture device can be filled as and when purchases made by the user.

In FIGS. 2 and 2A, the movable device has a rectangular shape, comprising two envelope parts with rectangular section 21, 22. In these figures, the elements similar to the elements illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 1A bear the same reference numbers increased by twenty.

In particular, the low box 26 is of rectangular section, the rolling tables 28, 29 are square, the panel 11 is substantially flat and the rolling sofa 33 is of rectangular profile.

In the variant illustrated in FIGS. 3 and 3A, the movable device consists of two envelope parts 41, 42 which have substantially the shape of a truncated circular section. In these figures, elements similar to the elements illustrated in Figures 1 and 1A bear the same reference numbers increased by forty.

The double arrow F in Figures 1 to 3 represents the opening direction of the furniture device.

In the variants illustrated in Figures 1 to 3, the furniture devices all consist of two envelope parts having a substantially identical section. However, as illustrated in FIG. 4, the two envelope parts do not necessarily have the same section.

In FIG. 4, the movable device comprises a first envelope part 61 of semi-cylindrical shape and a second envelope part 62 whose section corresponds to a quarter of a circle associated with a square. The two parts 61, 62 are hollow and open on their common joint plane P.

In the storage position, the device contains a wheelchair 7, a high rolling table 68, a low rolling table 69, a low rolling storage box 66, and possibly a computer terminal 74 placed on the table 68. All the components aforementioned pieces of furniture are partially arranged in each envelope part 61, 62, with the exception of the chair 7 which is entirely contained in the envelope part 61. The high table 68 has a profile which matches the internal shape of the parts envelope 61, 62, with the exception of a cutout 75 which allows the folder 7b of the wheelchair 7 to pass into the storage position. This cutout 75 in the table 68 also allows passage, without tilting or prior disassembly of said table and of the envelope part 62, through a door at least 80cm wide. The low table 69 has a profile which is entirely inscribed in the profile of the high table 68. Thus, as visible in FIG. 5A, the low table 69 can be placed in the extension of the high table 68, to define a plane of work with a larger surface. In the storage position, the low storage box 66 is slid under the tables 68, 69.

In Figure 5, we see that four devices according to Figure 4 have been joined in a star. In fact, the devices were joined by the corner area of the envelope part 62 which has walls at right angles. In FIG. 7, four devices of the type illustrated in FIG. 6, are joined in a star, along the walls at right angles to the envelope parts 82, in the storage position. An optimal arrangement of the furniture devices is thus obtained, in the position of use.

In the variant illustrated in FIG. 8, the movable device comprises a first envelope part 101 which has a substantially elongated shape, with rounded longitudinal ends, and a second envelope part 102 having a substantially triangular section.

The first envelope part 101 comprises, as visible in FIG. 8C, two upper storage boxes 101a fixed to said envelope part 101, and a low rolling storage cabinet 116 housed in a lower recess 104, as visible in the figure. 8D. The base unit 116 has dimensions smaller than those of the recess 104, so as to provide a gap 117 around the periphery of the unit 116, inside the envelope part 101, for the reasons explained below. As a variant, as illustrated in FIG. 8E, the envelope part 101 may comprise a single upper storage box 101a and a low rolling storage box 106, so as to provide in the envelope part 101 a housing 104 sufficient for receiving the chair 7. The second envelope part 102 has on its upper wall a pivoting flap 102a, which can for example carry a lamp. The second envelope part 102 comprises an interior housing 105 which is capable of partially receiving a high table 108 and a low table 109 fitted under the high table 108. The envelope part 102 has on its rear wall, a vertical slot 102b intended to receive a leg 108b of the high table 108. The above-mentioned interstices 117 are intended to receive the legs 108b, 109b and the trays 108a, 109a of the tables 108 and 109.

Advantageously, the vertical slot 102b has a height of at least 60cm.

The first envelope part 101 can be replaced by the envelope part 111, illustrated in FIGS. 9 and 9A, which consists of two portions articulated to each other along a median plane 11a.

In FIG. 9, four movable devices of the type illustrated in FIG. 8 are joined together in a star shape, along the triangular envelope parts 102 which have walls at right angles. In addition, certain elongated envelope parts may have triangular envelope parts on either side of their mean plane. In the position of use illustrated in FIG. 9A, it can be seen that the high tables 108 remain partially engaged in the envelope parts 102, while the other furniture components are distributed in the space to be managed.

As a variant, the high table 108 could be replaced by a tray 118 fixed inside the envelope part 102, said tray 118 being provided with a sliding shelf 119. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 10, the movable device consists of three envelope parts, namely a first envelope part with a triangular section 121 and two symmetrical envelope parts 122, 123 which define with the first envelope part a container having a shaped section of angular sector. As visible in FIG. 10B, the first envelope part 121 has two side walls 121a which extend from the top of the triangle beyond the triangular section of the first envelope part 121, so as to partially cover the other two envelope parts

The furniture device of FIG. 10 contains for example a chair 7, a low rolling storage box 126, a rolling low table 129, a high tray 128 fixed inside the first envelope part 121 and a terminal for computer 74 placed on said plate 128. The plate 128 extends beyond the triangular section 121, along the side walls 121a and has a corrugated front edge 128a.

The coffee table 129 has on its tray, a slot 129a opening onto a lateral edge of the tray, so as to be able to fit on two adjacent side walls 121a of two envelope parts 121 belonging to two adjacent movable devices, as illustrated in FIG. 11 A. The low table 129 thus makes it possible both to ensure the connection between two envelope parts 121, and to ensure the continuity of the high plates 128 between two envelope parts 121.

As shown in FIGS. 11 and 11A, four movable devices can be grouped in a star, both in the storage position and in the use position, to optimize the management of the space. Of course, as in the other variants, the number of movable devices which can be set in a star can be different from four, provided that the side walls of the movable devices have a suitable angular spacing.

In the variant illustrated in FIGS. 12 and 12A, there is seen a first envelope part 131 of substantially triangular shape, in which is partially fitted a high table 138 having a free wavy edge 138a. A coffee table 139 of substantially semi-circular shape has at its center a notch 139a to allow the coffee table 139 to be straddled on the side walls of two envelope parts 131 of two adjacent movable devices, to ensure both the connection of said envelope parts and the horizontal continuity of the high tables 138 associated with two adjacent envelope parts 131.

In the variant illustrated in FIGS. 13 and 13A, the high table 148 has a substantially L shape which is partially housed in an envelope part 141 which has a substantially elongated shape. laterally extending by a wall 141a. A semi-circular coffee table 149 ensures horizontal continuity of the worktops between the high tables 148 of two adjacent movable devices.

In FIGS. 14 and 14A, the envelope part 151 is substantially identical to the envelope part 121 in FIG. 10. The high table 158 has an asymmetrical free front profile 158a. The low table 159 here simply makes it possible to extend a part of the high table 158 from the associated envelope part 151.

The furniture devices of FIGS. 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 are particularly suitable for being stored, in the storage position, in a room angle, due to the presence of an envelope part having at least two adjacent walls. at 90 °.

We will now describe another embodiment of the furniture device of the invention with reference to Figures 15 to 18. In Figure 15, we see the furniture device of Figure 10 associated with a plurality of partition panels 160 which are folded on the two side walls 121a of the first envelope part 121. The panels 160 can be interconnected by removable hinges, to allow the panels to be separated from each other, as illustrated in FIG. 16. Preferably, the panels 160 are detachably fixed to the walls of the furniture device, by any suitable means. In FIG. 15, the panels 160 have a height greater than that of the envelope parts 121 to 123, in order to allow a room 165 to be delimited around the furniture components contained in the furniture device (see FIG. 16A).

In FIG. 15A, the partition panels 161 have the same height as the movable device and are detachably fixed on a wall only of at least one of the envelope parts 121 to 123. Of course, the partition walls 160 or 161 could be associated with any of the furniture devices described above.

In FIG. 16, it can be seen that the envelope part 121 has a triangular section devoid of the side walls 121a. The envelope part 121 comprises a shelf 133 on which is arranged a computer terminal 74, a sliding plate 132 being associated with said shelf 131. In addition, the bottom of the envelope part 121 is provided with a horizontal slot 121b which is intended to receive the leg 128b of the high table 128 , which engages in the housing 134 in the storage position. In FIG. 16, the coffee table 135 has a tray in the form of an angular sector. The other envelope parts 122, 123 are here spaced from one another.

The panels 160 or 161 can also be provided with rollers, although this is not shown. In FIG. 16A, it can be seen that one of the panels 160 is provided with a door 162 to allow access to the room 165, when the panels 160 completely surround the furniture components of the device.

In this figure, a movable device consists of four envelope parts 171 to 174 all having a square section so as to form a cube together . The envelope part 171 comprises in the lower part a cloakroom 171a and in the upper part a mailbox 171b, the envelope part 172 comprises in the lower part a refrigerator 172a and in the upper part of the storage shelves 172b, the part of envelope 173 has in the lower part a niche (not visible) intended to receive a wheelchair 7 and in the upper part of the storage shelves, and the envelope part 174 contains a plurality of fixed shelves on which a terminal d computer, video recording and playback device and any other type of computer and / or electronic equipment (not shown). The four envelope parts 171 to 174 can be connected to each other by releasable fixing means, for example a magnetic fixing means or a mechanical locking means.

In the variant illustrated in FIG. 20, the movable device comprises three envelope parts 181 to 183, the envelope part 182 being sandwiched between the two other envelope parts 181 and 183. The envelope part 181 constitutes a screen of cylindrical form analogous to the envelope part 1 of FIG. 1. In the upper part, the envelope part 181 comprises storage boxes 181a, and in the lower part a niche or a housing 184 intended for receive a chair 13 with a semi-circular profile. The intermediate envelope part 182 is of substantially parallelepiped shape and of rectangular section. This envelope part 182 forms a display panel and contains a video screen of variable height, in particular for broadcasting audiovisual information. The envelope part 183 has a substantially lobe-shaped profile and comprises, in a similar manner to the envelope part 181, an upper part consisting of storage shelves and a lower part defining a recess for receiving another wheelchair 13. The two extreme envelope parts 181 and 183 can be equipped with indirect lighting at the top and can be used as a screen.

In the variant illustrated in FIG. 21, the movable device also consists of three envelope parts 191 to 193, with the part intermediate envelope 192 which is sandwiched between the other two envelope parts 191 and 193. Each envelope part 191 to 193 is of rectangular shape and of substantially identical rectangular section. The intermediate envelope part 192 is identical to the above-mentioned envelope part 182. The envelope part 191 constitutes a storage cabinet comprising a plurality of shelves 191a in the lower part and upper storage boxes 191b. The envelope part 193 has storage space in the upper part and a free space in the lower part to accommodate there for example a wheelchair (not shown). In the variant illustrated in FIG. 22, the movable device consists of two envelope parts 201 and 202 having respectively a trapezoidal and triangular section. The envelope part 201 has in the upper part of the storage spaces 201a and in the lower part a recess 204, in a similar manner to the envelope part 21 in FIG. 2. The envelope part 202 forms a screen made up of two walls forming between them an angle of 90 °. The envelope part 202 is intended to receive the partition panel 31, a locker room 212 of triangular section, a floor lamp 210 of also triangular section, a wheelchair 213 of triangular section, and two nesting tables 208 and 209 of section also triangular. Unlike the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 2, in the variant of FIG. 22, each component of rolling furniture is entirely housed in one of the two envelope parts 201, 202.

In FIG. 23, the movable device comprises a first envelope part 221 constituted by a flexible fabric serving as a screen and a second envelope part 222 with a substantially triangular section, of overall shape similar to the envelope part. 102 of Figure 8.

The second envelope part 222 constitutes a dressing table comprising a central housing 225 and shelves 224 disposed laterally on either side of the central housing 225. A shelf 223 can be folded down in a horizontal position in the housing 225, in the position of use of the device, as shown in Figure 23A. This shelf may further include a small sliding tray, as shown in broken lines in Figure 23A. The fabric 221 is connected by a hinge 221b to one of the side walls of the envelope part 222, so that in the storage position, the fabric 221 closes the housing 225, and that the other vertical edge of said canvas 221 comes to hang on the other side wall of the envelope part 222, thanks to a plurality of fasteners 221a.

In the storage position, a rolling storage cabinet 227 can be accommodated in the housing 225. The storage cabinet 227 comprises a plurality of boxes 227a in the upper part and a through recess 227b in the lower part, capable of receiving a rolling stool 226 In FIG. 24, the movable device comprises a first envelope part 231 and a second envelope part 232 which are similar to the envelope parts 111 and 102 of FIG. 9A. In fact, the envelope part 231 is made up of two storage cupboards hinged together by a hinge 231a, while the envelope part 232 is of substantially triangular section and comprises a central housing 235 over its entire height, with lateral storage shelves 234 on either side of said housing. 2. - Device according to claim 1, characterized in that said envelope parts are rolling, independent and separable from each other, in the position of use.

3. - Device according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that at least two of said envelope parts (1, 2, 21, 22, 41, 42, 61, 52, 81, 82, 101, 102, 111, 121-123, 131, 141, 151) each have a housing (4, 5, 24, 25 44, 45, 104, 105) capable of receiving respectively a portion 0 only of a component of rolling furniture (8, 9, 28, 29, 48, 49, 66, 68, 69, 86, 88, 89, 108, 109, 128, 138, 148, 158) to be enclosed in the container, in the storage position.

4. - Device according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the housing of each envelope part at least partially matches the shape of a component of rolling furniture.

5. - Device according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that it comprises a plurality of rolling furniture components which are able to fit at least partially into each other inside the closed volume container, in storage position.

6. - Device according to claim 5, characterized in that it comprises at least one rolling table (108, 109) whose feet (108b, 109b) and / or the plate (108a, 109a) is able to be inserted in interstices (117) between portions of other components of fixed (101a) or rolling (106, 116) furniture in the storage position.

7. - Device according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that at least one of the rolling furniture components (108, 128) comprises a portion (108b, 128b) capable of engaging in a slot of complementary shape (102b, 121b) on an envelope part (102, 121), for positioning said component in the housing (105, 134) of said envelope part, in the storage position.

8.- Device according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that it comprises at least one rolling table (129, 139) whose plate is provided with a slot (129a, 139a) capable of being embedded on two adjacent side walls (121a) of two envelope parts (121, 131) belonging to the same furniture device, or to different furniture devices, in order to ensure a connection between the envelope parts, in the position of use.

9. - Device according to claim 8, characterized in that said rolling tables recessed astride the walls of the two envelope parts extend in the extension of tables (128, 138) located at least partially in the housing of said parts envelope, to ensure horizontal continuity of the work plan between the tables.
