Abstract

Es handelt sich um ein Verfahren zum Innenhochdruck-Umformen zweier oder mehrerer Hohlkörper (2, 3) mit jeweils zumindest einer Öffnung, insbesondere Metallrohre oder Metallhohlprofile. Dabei wird zunächst im Verbindungsbereich (V) eines ersten Hohlkörpers (2) mit einem nachfolgend anzuschließenden zweiten Hohlkörper (3) zumindest eine Sollbruchstelle (11) in der Außenwandung (2a) des ersten Hohlkörpers (2) definiert. Anschließend wird die betreffende Außenwandung (2a) des ersten Hohlkörpers (2) mittels eines hydraulischen Durckmittels im vorerwähnten Verbindungsbereich (V) beider Hohlkörper (2, 3) zunehmend aufgeweitet. Nach Überschreiten eines Berstdruckes (PB) entspannt sich das Druckmittel abschließend in den zweiten Hohlkörper (3) zu dessen optionaler Innenhochdruck-Umformung bzw. Verbindung des ersten Hohlkörpers (2) mit dem zweiten Hohlkörper (3).
