Abstract

La présente invention concerne un appareil pour l'émission et la réception de données numériques ou en format caractère via un réseau de radiomessagerie. Cet appareil comporte un système de transmissions spécialisé permettant de recevoir de l'information en format numérique ou en format caractères et contenant des informations boursières et météorologiques à évolution rapide en provenance de diverses sources d'information via une ligne spécialisée. Les informations en format numérique ou caractère sont converties en un format unique de transmission qui est transmis au moyen de trames de données via un réseau de radiomessagerie en mode diffusion un nombre défini de fois. Le dispositif comporte également une pluralité de récepteurs radio à afficheur numérique ou caractère auxquels est affecté un code de réception commun. Chacun de ces récepteurs radio à afficheur numérique ou caractère reçoit du système de transmission spécialisé la trame de données, vérifie la présence d'une erreur de réception de données dans la trame de données reçues et affiche automatiquement la trame de données reçue sur un écran d'affichage selon que les articles totalement ou partiellement sous télécommande du système de transmission spécialisé ou ne le sont pas. Cet appareil d'émission et de réception est capable de fournir des services temps réel économiques et efficaces dans le cas d'informations à évolution rapide.
