Mais il faut pour cela que le talon horizontal du support de feuillure soit ajusté sous l'angle rentrant de la feuillure et contre celle-ci, aussi parfaitement que possible sans soulever la moulure. Jusqu'à présent des boutons moletés associés au mécanisme mobile que constitue le support de feuillure, permettent de lever ou d'abaisser le talon du support pour le placer à la bonne place contre la moulure. Cette opération n'est pas toujours aisée pour l'utilisateur qui, si la moulure n'est pas correctement maintenue sur une table de travail, se traduira par son soulèvement au-dessus de la table.
