Immediately, the heated water will flow out of the nozzles 3 and spread over the windshield 2, defrosting the ice accumulated on it or defrosting it. Once the water exit is finished, the driver must activate the windshield wiper to remove the remaining water on the windshield 2. The estimated time for all hot water to spread on the windshield from the moment the driver starts the engine and the road light is about 30 seconds.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un système permettant de disperser un liquide sur la surface externe du pare-brise d'un véhicule et caractérisé en ce qu'il est indépendant de tout autre système hydraulique du véhicule et en ce que le liquide (1) qui est dispersé sur la surface externe du pare-brise (2) du véhicule est un liquide qui apporte de l'énergie. Le liquide (1) qui est dispersé sur le pare-brise (2) sort de la partie supérieure de ce dernier sous forme d'éventail à travers deux paires de gicleurs (3) connectés en parallèle. Le liquide (1) qui apporte de l'énergie est de préférence de l'eau chauffée entre 40 et 60 °C ou un liquide antigel. Ce système permet de faire fondre le gel s'étant formé sur le pare-brise ou de désembuer la partie externe du pare-brise.
