Abstract

Cette invention concerne un procédé de fonctionnement d'un moteur à combustion interne, à deux temps et à carburants multiples. Lors d'une modification de la charge appliquée sur le moteur, on exerce une action sur un organe de commande en envoyant un signal vers une unité de commande. Cette unité de commande va émettre des signaux qui gèrent l'admission cyclique du carburant dans les cylindres ainsi que les positions des axes de basculement de leviers, qui assurent le taux de compression, la valeur de la course du piston, les positions des points morts ainsi que le volume de travail des cylindres qui ont été prédéterminés et, enfin, qui déterminent le nombre de cylindres opérationnels. Les leviers sont connectés par une extrémité à des dispositifs d'actionnement, tandis que les autres extrémités sont connectées aux pivots des bielles articulées des pistons. En modifiant la position des axes de basculement des leviers, on modifie ainsi la valeur de la course du piston ainsi que le volume de travail des cylindres en fonction de la charge requise.
