Abstract

Cette invention concerne un élément rayonnant qui est destiné à la stérilisation et au séchage. Cet élément rayonnant comprend une spirale qui est disposée dans un corps creux dont la surface extérieure est recouverte d'une couche permettant de transformer l'énergie thermique en rayonnement infrarouge. La surface intérieure du corps peut comprendre une seconde couche de transformation qui possède la composition suivante: de 0,12 à 0,15 % en poids d'oxyde de potassium; de 0,17 à 0,21 % en poids d'oxyde de sodium; de 2 à 2,2 % en poids d'oxyde de magnésium; de 0,5 à 0,7 % en poids d'oxyde de silicium; de 1,5 à 2,1 % en poids d'oxyde de fer; et de 0,2 à 0,4 % en poids d'oxyde de nickel, le reste se composant d'une matière de charge. La couche de transformation extérieure possède quant à elle la composition suivante: de 0,8 à 1,2 % en poids d'oxyde de potassium; de 0,3 à 0,6 % en poids d'oxyde de sodium; de 25 à 32,9 % en poids d'oxyde d'aluminium; de 55,5 à 58,6 % poids d'oxyde de silicium; de 0,8 à 1,2 % en poids d'oxyde de fer; et de 0,21 à 0,26 % en poids d'oxyde de nickel. Le corps peut être fait d'un matériau céramique permettant de transformer l'énergie thermique en un rayonnement infrarouge dont la longueur d'onde varie de 2 à 9 νm, la densité du flux émis allant de 9,2 à 19,6 kW/m2.
