Abstract

Ein Nockenfolger (1) ist auf unterschiedliche Hübe für wenigstens ein Gaswechselventil schaltbar ausgelegt und besteht aus zwei angrenzenden Abschnitten (2, 4), die über ein Koppelmittel (15) miteinander koppelbar sind. Das Koppelmittel (15) wirkt mit einem Sperrschieber (14) zusammen. Besonderes Merkmal des Sperrschiebers (14) ist es, daß dieser als mechanisch sperr- und entspertbarer, jedoch hydraulisch in seiner Entsperrstellung über Schalthochdruck haltbarer Kolben für einen Zulauf (22) in eine Druckkammer (20) vor dem Koppelmittel (15) gefertigt ist. Gleichzeitig ist der Sperrschieber (14) vollständig in den Nockenfolger (1) eingebaut und überragt diesen nicht. Somit können sich unerwünschte Schwankungen des Hydraulikmitteldruckes im Grundkreis von den Nockenfolger (1) beaufschlagenden Nocken und dessen gewünschtem abgeschalteten Zustand nicht mehr auf das Koppelmittel (15) auswirken. Gleichzeitig wird eine Verlagerung dieses Koppelmittels (15) in dessen Koppelrichtung nur dann ermöglicht, wenn ein ausreichend großer Druck an Hydraulikmittel für seine Verlagerung zur Verfügung steht. Anderenfalls würde das Sperrmittel (14) über die Kraft eines Druckmittels (10) einen Zulauf (22) für das Hydraulikmittel verschließen.
