Abstract

Es wird eine Vollmantel-Zentrifuge (1) für Mehrphasengemische, vorzugsweise Dreiphasengemische, angegeben, welche insbesondere für Faserstoffsuspensionen in der Papierindustrie bestimmt ist. Die Vollmantel-Zentrifuge (1) hat ein Gehäuse (2), einen Rotor (7) zur Trennung des Mehrphasensgemisches in eine leichte, eine mittlere und eine schwere Fraktion. Im Mantel des Rotors (7) ist wenigstens eine Öffnung (41) für die Ausleitung der schweren Fraktion vorgesehen. In einem Raum (43) zwischen der Außenwand (24) des Rotors (7) und dem Gehäuse (2) ist eine Fördereinrichtung (51) angeordnet, welche ein Sperrmedium im Raum (43) in Richtung zumindest einer Öffnung (41) für die schwere Fraktion mit mindestens dem dort herrschenden Druck fördert.
