Abstract

Eine Vorrichtung zum Verwirbeln von Multifilamentgarnen weist einen Garnkanal auf, in dem die Filamente des Multifilamentgarns mittels eines aus einem Öffnungsquerschnitt einer Blasdüsenanordnung austretenden Mediumstroms, insbesondere Druckluftstroms, verwirbelbar sind, wobei der Öffnungsquerschnitt der Blasdüsenanordnung im wesentlichen symmetrisch zur Längsachse des Garnkanals ausgebildet ist. Durch eine besondere Blasdüsenanordnung (35) wird der Mediumstrom in einen Hauptstrom und in paarweise Nebenströme aufgeteilt, wobei der Hauptstrom in den mittleren Bereich (29) des Garnkanals (13) und der eine der Nebenströme in den einen Randbereich (33) und der andere der Nebenströme in den anderen Randbereich (33) des Garnkanals (13) einströmt, und Haupt- (H) und Nebenströme (N) im wesentlichen gleichsinnig gerichtet sind.
