Abstract

The invention concerns a filing device (1) such as, in particular, rigid file, archive box or the like, comprising at least a back (2) and side surfaces (3, 4). The invention is characterised in that the file (1) comprises catching means (5) for its vertical storage, arranged on the side facing said back (2). The invention also concerns an installation for storing (14) such filing devices (1).

Description

The present invention relates to a filing device such as, in particular, filing cabinets, archive boxes or the like, as well as an installation for storing said device.

Currently, in the classification field, there are many different types of binders known. The latter, generally consisting of a back and two relatively rigid side faces, allow documents to be stored, linked together and protected by the walls of the filing cabinet. In addition, they allow rapid identification of classified documents thanks, for example, to labels provided on their back. However, for their storage, said binders require the presence of cabinets and / or shelves resulting in a significant bulk. Furthermore, various types of hanging files are known, generally consisting of two flexible faces connected together along a common edge, fixing rods cooperating with the opposite edges to allow the suspension of said files on bars, arranged horizontally in cabinets or shelves. As the orientation of the documents is no longer vertical but horizontal, such folders make it possible to have a larger number of documents on the same height as filing cabinets.

However, this solution is also not satisfactory, the size of the cabinets and / or shelves used remaining essentially the same.

In addition, the possibilities of binding and identifying the documents located within said suspended files are less favorable.

The object of the present invention is to provide a filing device and an installation for the storage of said device which overcomes the aforementioned drawbacks by allowing the storage of documents in a small footprint.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a filing device and an installation for the storage of said device simplifying the handling of the latter by allowing to keep the same orientation when storing said device and consulting the documents it contains. .

Another object of the present invention is to provide a filing device and an installation for storing said device which facilitate the identification, binding and / or protection of the documents contained in said device.

An advantage of the present invention is that it can be used without the necessary cabinets and / or shelves with the previously known filing devices, thus making it possible to multiply the possibilities of location for storage and considerably reducing the size of the corresponding installation when said filing devices are not stored.

Other objects and advantages of the present invention will appear during the description which follows which is given only for information and which is not intended to limit it. The invention relates to a filing device such as, in particular a rigid filing cabinet, comprising at least one back and side faces, characterized in that it comprises attachment means allowing its vertical storage, arranged on the side opposite to said back.

The invention also relates to an installation for the storage of filing devices, as described above, consisting of a support, substantially vertical, having at least horizontal bars with which said attachment means are able to cooperate.

The invention relates to a filing device such as, in particular, filing cabinets, archive boxes or the like.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the classification device 1 according to the invention is provided rigid and includes at least one back 2 and lateral faces 3, 4.

By “rigid” is meant, on the one hand, that the faces of said device 1 have a certain thickness and / or are made of a material offering a certain rigidity and / or, on the other hand, that they define a volume closed, each of said faces bearing on another, thus imparting a certain rigidity to the assembly.

According to the invention, said classification device 1 comprises hooking means 5 allowing its vertical storage, arranged on the side opposite to said back 2. By "vertical storage", it is meant that said back 2 and said lateral faces 3, 4 are, once said classification device 1 stored, in a vertical position.

It is therefore found that said classification device 1 can be stored easily, by simple suspension, on any type of support, for example substantially vertical, provided with an element capable of cooperating with said attachment means 5. The space required for storing said classification device 1 is thus considerably reduced. In addition, when it is not stored, the corresponding place is completely free and is no longer occupied, as with the filing cabinets and / or boxes of previously known archives, shelves and / or cupboards.

It should also be noted that the classification device 1 according to the invention can be handled in a particularly simple manner since it is suspended from the right side to allow identification of its content by labeling on the back 2 and authorizes the consultation of documents or other objects it contains in the same direction as that used for storage.

In addition, it retains the same advantages, namely the possibility of binding and protecting documents, as the binders and / or archive boxes previously known. According to a first embodiment, not shown, said attachment means 5 are constituted by one or more attached hooks. It may in particular be a hook attached to a face, opposite the back 2, closing said device, or hooks provided in the vicinity of the edges 10, 11 of the lateral faces opposite the back 2. According to this latter embodiment, said hooks could be defined, for example, in rods, subject to said lateral faces, along said edges 10, 1.

According to other embodiments, corresponding in particular to those illustrated, said attachment means 5 are constituted, for example, by a hook 6, 7; 8, 9 formed hollow in the mass of at least one of said lateral faces 3, 4.

According to the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, it can be seen that said lateral faces 3, 4, provided substantially planar, each comprise a said hook 6, 7 constituted by cutouts provided, substantially at the same level, in said lateral faces 3, 4 on their edges 10, 11 opposite the back 2.

To allow hanging, said cutouts are provided, in the thickness direction, emerging through each of said lateral faces 3, 4.

According to another embodiment, corresponding to that illustrated in FIG. 2, at least one of said lateral faces 3, 4 is provided, on its side opposite the back 2, with a flap 12, 13, converging towards the another lateral face 3, 4. The said hook (s) 8, 9 are then provided at the level of the said flap (s) 12, 13.

As shown, a said flap 12, 13 is provided, for example, on each of said side faces 3, 4. These are, in particular, symmetrical with respect to each other and / or contiguous. In Figure 4, said flaps 12, 13 appear rounded but they may have another shape.

According to this embodiment, a said hook 8, 9 is provided in each of said flaps 12, 13, in the extension of one another. Said hooks 8, 9 open out in a direction parallel to the back 2. Said flaps are optionally provided with hooking means, not shown, enabling them to be held edge to edge against each other. It is, for example, a hook provided on one of the flaps cooperating with a slot provided in the other.

According to another embodiment, not illustrated, a single flap could be provided, articulated with respect to the rest of one of said lateral faces and of width substantially identical to that of said back 2. Said flap would then have a said hook, opening out according to a direction parallel to that of said back 2.

According to such embodiments, and as it appears more clearly in FIGS. 3 and 4 concerning the example with two flaps 12, 13, the one or more hooks 8, 9 are formed, for example, by a recess provided in the thickness or said flaps 12, 13. Said recesses are formed only in the thickness of the walls of said classification device 1 and do not open out inside the latter. For this, said flaps 12, 13 have, optionally, a greater thickness than that of the rest of the said face or faces. side 3, 4 corresponding.

Referring again to Figures 1 and 2, we see that the or said hooks 6, 7; 8, 9 are, for example, provided in the upper part on said lateral faces 3, 4. The classification device 1 according to the invention may also further comprise, in particular at the level of said flap or flaps 12, 13, means of attachment, not shown, of said lateral faces 3, 4 to each other. These, by closing the contour of said classification device 1, promote the suspended maintenance of the latter. Conventionally, said classification device 1 may also include, possibly, means for attaching documents and / or other objects contained therein.

That said, said classification device 1 according to the invention can be made up, as described in document FR-96 / 15.460, of one or more flanks formed from a planiform hollow shell, capable of imparting a thickness and a relatively high stiffness on said sides.

As more particularly illustrated in FIGS. 5 and 6, the present invention also relates to an installation 14 for the storage of classification devices 1 as described above.

Said installation 14 consists of a support 15, substantially vertical, having at least horizontal bars 16 with which said attachment means 5 are able to cooperate.

Said bars 16 are constituted, in particular, by angles 17, capable of being subjected to a wall such as, for example, wall, partition or other, defining said support 15.

Said angles have, in particular a U-shaped profile.

They are made, for example, of metal and / or extruded plastic and are fixed to said wall, in particular, by screwing, riveting and / or gluing. Said installation 14 further comprises, optionally, a bracket 18 capable of allowing a resumption of effort by cooperation with the lower end of the side or sides of said filing device 1 where said hooking means 5 are located.

According to another embodiment, not illustrated, said support 15 may consist, in particular, of a metal frame such as, for example, a mesh.

Naturally, other modes of implementation, within the reach of those skilled in the art, could have been envisaged without departing from the scope of the invention.

Claims

1. Filing device (1) such as, in particular, filing cabinet, archive box or the like, rigid, comprising at least one back (2) and lateral faces (3, 4), characterized in that it comprises hooking means (5) for its vertical storage, arranged opposite side to said back (2).

2. Device according to claim 1, wherein said attachment means (5) consist of a hook (6, 7; 8, 9) formed hollow in the mass of at least one of said side faces (3, 4 ).

3. Device according to claim 1, wherein said attachment means (5) are constituted by one or more attached hooks.

4. Device according to claim 2, wherein said lateral faces (3, 4) provided substantially planar, each comprise a said hook (6, 7) constituted by cutouts provided substantially at the same level, in said lateral faces (3, 4 ) on their edge (10, 11) opposite the back (2).
