Such a box is handled regularly by the user and therefore requires a fast and reliable handling capacity.
In particular, the opening and closing of this box must be easy and preferably can be performed with one hand.
In addition, when such a box contains articles such as cigars, its sealing must be ensured at least until the first use of the box and must be sufficient to allow to alter as little as possible their taste and texture.
The lid of the box described in this document is guided in translation on said housing from an open position to a closed position by means of sliding means constituted by the upper edges of the two opposite side walls of the housing which are wound on themselves to the outside and in which come into sliding contact the free edges of the two opposite side walls of the lid wound on themselves inwardly.
In such a box, the hermetic hold of the cigars until the first use is provided by a polymeric film enveloping the entire box and to be completely defeated during the first use.
Also, the opening of this box is not controlled which means that the lid can come off the box when opening and / or gripping items.
In the same direction, the closing of the box is not locked, the box can thus open again after closing.

The rear wall 8 of the housing has the same arcuate shape convexity directed outside, the central portion of the rear wall 8 being inclined rearwardly.
According to the invention, the closure and opening of the box 1 are controlled by the means described below.

In this way, the box 1 can not open after the latching operation has been operated.
These retention bosses in the

It is advantageous for the open-

The housing and the lid are made of metal or any other material such as plastic or cardboard having food qualities and sufficient rigidity.
The box of the invention thus allows the sealed storage of cigars before the first use and manipulation of a hand of this box during its use, this simplicity of use being secured both at opening and closing.
