Abstract

Es wird eine Vorrichtung zur Durchführung von Gasreaktionen beschrieben, die aus einem Reaktionsraum (1) besteht, der unten durch einen mit Wasser gefüllten Behälter (2) und oben durch eine Abgashaube (3) verschlossen ist, wobei ein erster Gasstrom durch Düsen (7) in den Reaktionsraum (1) und ein zweiter Gasstrom durch Düsen (11) in das Wasser eingetragen wird, wobei der Reaktionsraum (1) eine Einschnürung (8) aufweist, in deren Bereich die im Reaktionsraum (1) befindlichen Düsen (7) angeordnet sind, und wobei die gasförmigen Reaktionsprodukte (16) aus der Abgashaube (3) abgeführt werden. Diese Vorrichtung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die im Reaktionsraum (1) angeordneten Düsen (7) zur Wasseroberfläche (9) hin geneigt sind und zur Horizontalen einen Neigungswinkel von 12 bis 16° aufweisen, daß der Durchmesser des Reaktionsraums (1) im Bereich der Einschnürung (8) um 20 bis 30 % verringert ist und daß die Einschnürung (8) im Reaktionsraum (1) so angeordnet ist, daß 20 bis 30 % der Höhe des Reaktionsraums (1) zwischen der Wasseroberfläche (9) und der Einschnürung (8) und 80 bis 70 % der Höhe des Reaktionsraums (1) zwischen der Einschnürung (8) und der Abgashaube (3) liegen. Diese Vorrichtung wird zur Verbrennung von Gasen und Abgasen sowie zur Durchführung chemischer Gasreaktionen verwendet.
