Abstract

The method according to the invention characterises with the fact that after application of mortar or other lining, the surfaces of the forming mesh are uncovered. The forming mesh is pressed into the mortar or other lining so that their surface forms to the determined mesh structure. The forming mesh is pictured on the surface of mortar or other lining. The forming mesh is poured with mortar or other lining mix. In the mould for forming of a construction element in wet process a forming mesh is placed, and then the mould is filled with concrete mix. It is advantageous to put additional paint coating onto set mortar or other lining mix. The mesh for creation of a decorative plaster characterises with a spatial structure of fractal, multifractal or quasi-fractal shape, while the mesh has a determined thickness.

Description

Finishing methods for construction elements and mesh for finishing of 2 constructional elements
The subject of the invention consists in the method for finishing of construction elements and a mesh for finishing of construction elements, particularly for finishing of external plasters.
From the patent application No.306820 we know a wrapping for a decorative architectural element, particularly of a porous plastic as well as the method of its manufacture. This solution characterises with the fact that the wrapping consists of a mass covering the element surface with embedded fibreglass mesh. The process of setting and hardening of the wrapping mass is performed by retention of the element covered with the mass in the temperature not lower than 5 °C. There is also a constructional plate known from the application of the Polish utility model No. 9993 1 under title "Insulating constructional plate", characterising with the fact that there is a plastic mesh placed and fixed on the external side of a Styrofoam plate, covered with a thin layer of a grounding mass. Widely known are also plastering meshes with mostly rectangular holes, utilised as reinforcement of plasters, embedded into the mass of a plaster or other grounding layer. These meshes protect against the occurrence of scratches. Forming of the surfaces of plasters and linings is done by means of various manual techniques.
Utilisation of a flat mesh as a warp for factory applied and glued ceramic floor mosaic is also well known. This solution is applicable only for floors. Utilisation of a mesh has no autonomic composition function and does not create a new aesthetic quality in comparison to manual construction of a mosaic. The purpose of the solution according to the invention is to elaborate a method for finishing of plaster surfaces, particularly external ones, as well as surfaces of construction elements, which largely allows to eliminate the use of qualified workforce, creates a diversification in patterns of surfaces and gives higher artistic qualities. The merit of the solution, according to the invention, consists in fixing of the forming mesh to the sublayer, application of mortar or other lining and then uncovering of its surface. The decorative plaster is formed also in such a way that the forming mesh is pressed into the mortar or other lining so that their surface forms according to the determined structure of the mesh. Original surface quality is obtained also in such a way that the forming mesh is pressed, on the mortar or lining surface and then removed. The mesh is poured with mortar or other lining mass. In a mould for wet forming of a construction element a forming mesh is placed. After setting of mortar or other ground layer it is advantageous if they are additionally covered with paint coatings.
The mesh for production of decorative plaster characterises with the fact that it has a spatial structure of fractal, multifractal or quasi-fractal shape, while the mesh has a determined thickness.
An advantageous result of the solution according to the invention is the possibility to obtain an aesthetic effect impossible to obtain with use of traditional techniques with reasonable amount of workmanship. This effect consists in creation of a surface with a distinct fractal structure. There is a possibility to create various multicolour surfaces with any patterns. The obtained quality is higher than in case of manual finishing of plasters. Apart of aesthetic functions the mesh plays also technical and technological roles by reinforcing of plasters. The subject of the invention is presented as an example of application, where FigJ presents a fragment of the mesh with spatial structv ^ with applied mortar, Fig.2 a fragment of mesh with irregular spatial structure, Fig.3 a fragment of the mesh with plate spatial structure, while Fig.4 a fragment of the mesh with bubble structure.
The forming mesh may be of mono- or polymaterial character, both natural and plastics, as well as combinations of above. Meshes are made industrially and supplied to the work site. The forming mesh is fixed to the sublayer, mortar or other lining is applied, and then the excess of the mass is removed to uncover the surface of the mesh. The lining may consist of various hardening masses and permanently setting mixes, as e.g. plaster linings based on natural binders, plaster linings based on artificial binders, thin layer glue linings, thermal insulation mortars with granulated thermal insulation materials, foam materials and their combinations.
Aesthetic effect of plasters is obtained also in such way that the forming mesh is pressed into mortar or other ground layer by means of a special set of tools so that the surface of the formed plaster forms in the way determined by the structure of the forming mesh.
Original surface quality of plaster may also be obtained by pressing of the forming mesh into the surface of the mortar or other lining and then its removal. Other method is to fix the mesh to the surface of the construction element and then pouring onto it a mortar or other lining mix. Another application is the finishing of prefabricated construction elements or wet process elements made on site, as e.g. concrete or reinforced concrete elements. Properly designed mesh, in this case fixed inside of the forming mould, e.g. in a formwork, is filled with concrete mix. In order to obtain e.g. a multicolour plaster surface, after setting of mortar or other ground layer, it is advantageous to cover them additionally with paint coatings.
The mesh to create a decorative plaster may have any shape. The shape of the mesh may be based on traditional geometric figures, i. e. circles, ellipse, polygons, etc. , while the mesh characterises with the fact that it has a determined thickness, having a significant role in forming of plaster surface and the way of surface making, i.e. gives the thickness of the surface quality while determining the degree of embedding of the mesh in the mortar. The term mesh covers also meshes with zero area holes, i.e. continuous coats.
The proposed system of plaster and lining finishing prefers fractal, multifractal and quasi-fractal shapes. One of possible spatial constructions of mesh is the mesh with spatial warp, with applied drops of mortar. Another kind of this forming mesh type is a mesh creating a net made of an irregular elastic warp, with embedded mineral grains. Another pattern of mesh is a monomaterial mesh with spatial plate structure. Another example of mesh is also a monomaterial mesh with bubble structure.

Claims

Patent claims
1 . The method for finishing of construction elements consists in fixing of a mesh to sublayer and application of mortar or other lining, characteristic in such a way that after application of mortar or other lining the surface of the mesh is uncovered.
2. The method according to claim 1 characteristic with the fact that the forming mesh is pressed into the mortar or other lining so that their surface forms to a determined mesh structure.
3. The method according to claim 1 characteristic with the fact that the forming mesh is pressed onto the mortar or other lining and then removed.
4. The method according to claim 1 , the forming mesh is poured with mortar or other lining mix.
5. The method according to claim 1 , characteristic with the fact that inside the mould for forming of prefabricated element in wet process a forming mesh is placed and then the mould is filled will concrete mix.
6. The method according to 1 , 2 or 3 characteristic with the fact that it is advantageous to place paint coatings onto set mortar or other liiiing.
7. The mesh for creation of decorative plaster characteristic with the fact that it has a spatial structure with fractal, multifractal or quasi-fractal shape, while the mesh has a determined thickness.
