Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication de bande d'aluminium pour boîtes de conserve, notamment dans des installations de laminage dont la capacité de production annuelle est inférieure à 250.000 unités, avec dégrossissage en mode réversible de la matière brute, avec enchaînement direct par la passe finale de laminage, suivie d'un traitement à chaud de la bande, qui est dévidée en rubans. Lors des derniers points de la passe finale de laminage, on régule la température de la bande à chaud pour empêcher la recristallisation dans la matière en laminage, ladite recristallisation étant provoquée de manière ciblée tout de suite après la passe finale de laminage. L'invention concerne en outre une installation pour la mise en oeuvre du procédé en question.
