Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de fabriquer un composant servant à la transformation de l'énergie d'impact dans des véhicules automobiles, procédé selon lequel un matériau de départ chauffé à sa température de déformation est mis en forme de barre profilée, laquelle est ensuite divisée en éléments d'absorption d'impact (3) correspondant aux besoins. Ce procédé permet une production rationnelle et bon marché des éléments d'absorption d'impact (3). Il est possible d'obtenir un élément d'absorption d'impact (3) pouvant avoir presque n'importe quelles formes géométriques, cela en fonction d'exigences spécifiques à un véhicule. Des ouvertures de raccordement (5) permettant de fixer l'élément d'absorption d'impact (3) dans le véhicule à moteur sont réalisées au moment du pressage. L'élément d'absorption d'impact (3) présente des espaces vides (7, 8) et des entretoises intérieures (11, 12). On obtient ainsi un gain de poids élevé avec un élément d'impact (3) ayant un pouvoir d'absorption des chocs conforme à sa fonction.
