Definitions
- the present invention relates to a container supplied with cap mounting in sealing engagement on the open top end of the said container for storing and controllable dispensing liquides and/or gases, especially soft drinks.
- the carbonated soft-drinks are put into trade circulation generally in glass-, or .plastic bottles. These containers are closed mostly with treaded or snap-in cap, but disadvantageously the drink loses its fresh taste, i.e. the delight-value because of the loss of the carbonic gas. It is known in this field of technic more devices with cap including ventil and serving controllable escape of drink without the loss of gascontent.
- the device of HU 243 utility model is provided also with holder for carbon-dioxid cartridge to saturate the drink with gas.
- a similar structure is known in the HU 30 utility model relating to a bottle supplied with a pressuretight and discharging head.
- the main drawback of these devices is that tha discharging will more and more difficult by decreasing the liquid and the inner pressure in the container, evently the soft-drink partly rests in the container and thus will be lost.
- These devices are unfit to use for liquid without inner gaspressure, i.e. soft-drink free from carbon-dioxyd.
- Another drawback is that space above the liquid rises with decreasing the liquid in the bottle, consequently drink easily decomposes obtaining unagreeable smell and/or taste.
- the main object of the present invention is to develop a container producible with low cost and easily handle for storage and correct controlled dispensing of liquid without own inner gaspressure, preferably soft-drink free from carbon-dioxyd, in the same time eliminating the drawbacks mentioned in the prior art.
- the main recognization of the present invention is that the liquid free from inner gaspressure may effectively discharge from a container provided with dispensing cap and acting a pressure onthe liquid in the bottle by a means decreasing the volume of the said liquid.
- a further recognization based on the invention is that it may press the liquid in the bottle having bellows-type structure by successively closing the said bellows- type structure.
- the container acts itself the desired pressure on its liquid content.
- the formvarying means is a balloon-like casing placed in the bottle instead the wall of the bottle
- the desired pressure will be increased by the gas (f.e.:air) being between the wall of the bottle and the casing, it is possible to discharge the liquid completly from the bottle too having no inner gaspressure, no carbon-dioxyd content.
- our invention is a container for storage and dispensing of liquids and/or gases, having a bottle closed with a cap giving pressuretight close and regulatable dispensing, and may characterize in that the container is provided with form-varying means, i.e. bellows-type pleats, casing, inserted in the cylind- heal wall and/or setted in the inward of the bottle to change its storing volume.
- the said container may characterize in that a bellows-type segment of plurality of annular pleat is inserted in the cylindrical wall of the bottle.
- the said pleats are expediently unstreched in the closed-, i.e. shortened position and streched in the opened, i.e. elongated position.
- a preferred embodiment of the bottle has near to the cap an outer annular collar and near to the bottom an lower neck.
- the cap is provided with a downwardly tube inserted in the sleeve of the valvebody and which is shorter than the height of the container in the closed position of the bellows-pleats.
- a further preferred embodiment of the bottle is provided with a casing in its inside. The said casing is expediently opened toward the cap, and preferably is fixed to the cap or between the cap and the opening of the bottle.
- the casing is closed toward the cap and the said casing is a resilient form-varying means fixed to the bottom, preferably by a ventilplug.
- the casing is preferably an inelascity sack with length near to the height of the bottle.
- the casing has expediently a tube projecting downwardly from the cap along the inside of casing.
- bossing means i.e. ribs and/or waves.
- the container wherein there are spaces everywhere between the casing being full up with liquid and the wall of the bottle.
- the container 1 has a bottle 2 provided with dispensing cap 3.
- the bottle 2 has an opening 21 and conically diminishes near to the said opening 21 and also on its lower partition near to the bottom 24 of the bottle 2.
- the Fig.1. and 2. show a preferably embodiment of the container 1 having a bottle 2 with steady phases and unsteady phases in its cylindrical wall.
- an unsteady phase is defined by a bellows-type structure 27 consisting a plurality of pleats 25 similarly to an accordion, thus being suitable to act as form-varying means and to change its short-, i.e. closed and elongated-, i.e. open position vice-versa.
- the shape change of the bellows structure 27 has a function of volume change, i.e.
- bottle 2 made of unelastical material they can close the bellows 27 with outer power, f.e. manually for discharging the liquid. It is possible to produce resilient bellows applied material and technology yet known per se. The said already known bellows structures was not applied untill now for storing liquid or gas, because the possibility of useing was opened only after the integration the bottle 2 with pressurtightly and dispensing cap.
- the embodiment of container 1 with resilient bellows 27 is unstre- ched at the closed position of the pleats 25 but in the open position of the pleats 25, i.e. when the bottle 2 is full up with liquid, streching power appears on each meeting ring between any two pleat 25, effecting to close the bellows 27 to short position.
- the bottle 2 with own resilient acts a pressing effect to liquid and discharges it from the container 1 opening the cap 3 by decreasing the storing volume 5.
- an annular collar 22 on the outer side of the bottle's wall near to the opening 21 , and an acumen i.e. a lower neck 23 near to the bottom 24. They can elongate the bellows 27 manually affording the possibility to fill up the empty container 1 via cap 3 without overpressure. It is advisable to provide the container 1 in accordance with Fig.1.-2. with tube 37 extending downwardly from cap 3 in the storing volume 5 having a maximal length less than the height of the bottle 2 with closed bellows 27.
- the cap 3 is connected to the opening 21 with threaded or snapping bond ( Fig. 3. )
- the cap 3 is known per se, is capsular and has aspecial valve 32 covering completly the inner side of cap 3 as valvebody on a valve seat, at the same time sealing with circular edge between the cap 3 and the opening 21.
- the plunger 33 being on the top of cap 3 is extended downwardly untill valve 32 via perpendicular central opening 34 of the cap 3.
- valve 32 In the middle the valve 32 seals the central opening 34 and also the inner end of discharging 31. Pressing down the plunger 33 the valve 32 moves away from the inner end of discharging 31 , and the liquid escapes out from the container 1 by inner pressure across the hole 35 being in the valve 32. At fill up the container 1 the valve 32 moves away by the effect of outer pressure arriving via discharging 31 or central opening 34 to afford unhindered way in the storing volume 5.
- the valve 32 is made of rubberlike resilient material and has a, sleeve 36 below the hole 35 to join and hold the tube 37.
- a further preferred embodiment has balloon-shape casing 4 made of resilient material for changing the storing volume 5 in the bottle 2 (Fig.4.
- the casing 4 is here the form varying means, but in this case the change of storing volume 5 takes place without any change of outer form of container 1 contrary to embodiment of Fig.1.-2.
- the said casing 4 is fixed and sealed with the valve 32 to the cap 3 between the cap 3 and the opening 21 and the casing 4 is open toward the cap 3 (Fig.6.).
- the storing volume 5 of the container 1 is arising in this case inside of the casing 4.
- the casing 4 enlarges to balloon-shape being pressed in and occupying the inside of bottle 2 simultaneously compressing the gas between the wall of the bottle 2 and the casing 4, and increasing the pressure of this gas.
- the stored liquid is under pressure of compressed gas and springiness of the casing 4 which acts pouring out the liquid content opening the valve 32 of cap 3.
- a further advantage of this embodiment is that the stored liquid is always perfectly surrounded and closed by the casing 4 without considering of the momently volume of said liquid and the filled degree of the bottle 2. It is thus totally impossible an air-phase above the liquid in the casing 4 not partly discharging of the liquid above all.
- the casing 4 is fixed to the bottom 24 of the bottle 2.
- the form-varying means is here also the casing 4 but the storing volume 5 is between the wall of the bottle 2 and the casing 4 and not in the casing 4.
- the changing of storing volume 5 does not cause change of shape or size of the bottle 2.
- the casing 4 is fixed to the bottom 24 preferably with ventilplug 26, having a pipe branch for controlling the gas-pressure in the casing 4.
- ventilplug 26 having a pipe branch for controlling the gas-pressure in the casing 4.
- the compressed gas in casing 4 helps to pour out the liquid content via cap 3 and enlarging decreases the storing volume 5 accordingly the volume of liquid poured out. Also here the storing volume 5 is totally filled always with liquid without air-phase above it (Fig.7. -8.)
- the casing 4 may make of unelastic material has a sack-shape, is fixed to cap 3 with its open end, and said sack- shape is hanging down free in the bottle 2.
- the storing volume 5 is growing up inside the casing 4. At the empty state the casing 4 is flat, the two side closely lays one on other. At the filled state the casing 4 lays on the inner side of bottle's wall.
- the casing 4 is supplied with a tube 37 described connection with the embodiment accordingly Fig.1.-2.
- the length of said tube 37 corresponds to perpendicular size of the casing 4.
- We can omit the tube 37 useing some kind of means to hinder the jamming of casing's upper part, f.e. walwes, ribs, buds, ridges on the inner surface of casing's walls.
- the embodiment represented with Fig.10. has casing 4 made of unelastic material and because its size nowhere can touch the wall of bottle 2 no its fulled state at all, thus has a heat-insulating space around the casing 4 containing the stored liquid.
- the bottle 2 with variable storing volume 5 according present invention combined with the cap 3 disclosured and protected by the PCT/IB95/oo321 international patent application compared with the prior art gives a lot os advantages for users. All embodiment are easily producible and handling and give perfectly resolution to pour out the soft-drink without inner gaspressure, without carbonization, comfortably, regilatably, caring the cleanness of the stored liquid and eliminating the air-phase above it in the case of partly filled bottle.
- the size of the empty bellows-type bottles may decrease to make easy the storage and the transporting, thus spare the cost.
- the casing proves the advantage that the bottle may reuse more times without expensive washing and control device omitting the contamination of environment and sparing the waste-fee, because only the cap and the casing are to be changed, but the plastic of cap also may reuse in plastic-factories and casing is made of biologically destroyable material, thus harmless for the environment. Instead marking the bottle they can marke the casing, thus may eliminate the expensive washing and cleaning the bottles.
- the cost of these works is equivalent with the price of the new bottle, on the other hand the printing of the casing is cheap and is well visible across the bottle's wall. Consequvently the marking of the bottles are unnecessary.
- the bottle provided with casing fixed to the bottom (Fig.7.
- ventilplug inserted in the bottom.
- the said ventilplug is also advantegeous in the other abovementioned embodiments because gives the possibility to fill the container without overpressure and to regulate the discharging pressure later, after the filling up.
