Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft allgemein Vorrichtungen und Verfahren zur Erzeugung und Nutzung von Ozon. Insbesondere befaßt sich die Erfindung mit einer Vorrichtung und einem Verfahren zur Erzeugung aktivierter Ozonstrukturen. Eine erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung zur Erzeugung von Ozon enthält eine Hochspannungsquelle und mindestens zwei im Abstand zueinander angeordnete Elektroden mit einem dazwischen angeordneten Dielektrikum, das mindestens einen zur Dissoziation ankommenden Sauerstoffes verwendeten Strömungsweg entlang den Elektroden bildet, wobei mindestens eine der Elektroden Löcher aufweist. Vorrichtungsmäßig verbinden die Löcher dabei den Strömungsweg mit einem Abführungsweg, in dem keine hohen Spannungen vorhanden sind. Gemäß dem entsprechenden Verfahren wird Gas aus dem Strömungsweg durch Löcher der Elektrode oder der Elektroden in einen Abführungsweg geführt, in dem insbesondere keine hohen Spannungen vorhanden sind. Weiterhin betrifft die Erfindung Vorrichtungen und Verfahren zum Bekämpfen von Schadstoffen und Schädlingen, einschließlich zum Reinigen, Unschädlichmachen, Neutralisieren oder Behandeln von giftigen Fluiden und Rückständen davon beispielsweise in entleerten Behältern und Leitungen.
