Abstract

Procédé permettant de décorer un article, notamment un article en matière plastique (par exemple un panneau de baignoire/douche en acrylique). Le procédé peut comprendre l'application sur l'article d'une décalcomanie (10) qui contient des encres à sublimation. Dans une autre forme d'exécution du procédé on peut appliquer directement sur l'article la matière décorative. Après l'application de la matière décorative sur l'article on peut former ce dernier à l'aide de techniques de formage sous vide ou à l'aide de techniques de moulage par injection. Dans tous les cas, la matière décorative subit une sublimation qui provoque sa diffusion (au moins partielle) dans la surface de l'article à décorer. On peut également appliquer sur l'article un film protecteur avant l'application de la matière décorative, dans ce cas cette dernière subit une sublimation à travers le film protecteur dans la surface de l'article.
