Abstract

Procédé de fabrication d'un produit en cuir gaufré selon lequel on scelle à haute fréquence une pièce de cuir donnée à former au moins sur une partie de sa surface, ladite pièce étant placée entre la base de l'appareil et un élément de presse ayant des gravures de la forme voulue. Le cuir est réchauffé avant le scellement à haute fréquence qui consiste à sceller à haute fréquence la pièce de cuir par compression d'un élément de presse et de la base. Ladite pièce de cuir présente une surface externe (1) qui reste normalement visible et une surface interne (2) qui n'est pas visible dans le produit fini. Les parties entourant le motif formable et les rainures de l'élément de presse sont comprimées sur le cuir par l'intermédiaire d'un moule n'accrochant pas au cuir, à placer entre la base et le cuir. Ledit moule contient de nombreuses couches de différentes matières pouvant être formées à la chaleur et aux hautes fréquences par rapport à la forme de l'élément de presse.
