Abstract

L'invention concerne des compositions et procédés permettant de fermer les tissus et de prévenir les adhérences postopératoires. Les compositions qui sont l'objet de la présente invention comprennent un composant à base de collagène ou de gélatine, un ou plusieurs agents de réticulation, et, de manière facultative, un plastifiant. Les procédés de fermeture des tissus consistent à appliquer sur les tissus lesdites compositions réchauffées afin de former une couche continue sur le tissu, et de permettre ensuite au produit de fermeture de se durcir afin de former une couche biocompatible qui adhère au tissu et se dégrade sur une période qui va au moins de 2 à 120 jours environ.
