Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Bestimmung des Absorptions- und/oder Streuungsgrades eines Mediums (8), wobei die Vorrichtung eine Strahlungsquelle (1) und einen Strahlendetektor (10) hat, und die Strahlungsquelle (1) eine Referenzstrahlung (5) bestimmter Intensität emittiert, und der Strahlendetektor (10) den durch das Medium (8) hindurchgetretenen Teil (7) der Referenzstrahlung (5), sowie Fremdstrahlung (11) detektiert und ein der Intensität der detektierten Strahlung (7, 11) entsprechendes Signal (12) an eine Auswertschaltung (13) weiterleitet, wobei die Strahlungsquelle (1) periodisch oder zeitweise die Referenzstrahlung (5) emittiert.
