Description

The present invention relates to an aqueous cleaning agent which contains nonionic surfactants and is suitable for cleaning in the sanitary field.
With many cleaning agents, e.g. sanitary cleaners, it is desirable that these are viscous in order to achieve a longer exposure time on non-horizontal surfaces. The pH of acidic cleaning agents is usually between 0 and 2. Such a low pH makes special demands on the stability of the components. The thickeners used to increase the viscosity, e.g. Amines or amine dehvates often supply products that are not stable in viscosity for a sufficient period of time. In addition, in the case of these thickeners, the viscosity of the products can vary greatly as a function of the storage temperature. Other typical thickeners such as guar flour, xanthan gum or cellulose derivatives are not stable in acidic media and quickly lose their thickening properties. Another disadvantage of these compounds is that they make no contribution to the cleaning performance of the cleaning agents.
The thickeners used in neutral and alkaline detergents mean that the detergents dissolve only with difficulty in water in the event of a dilution process which may be provided. In addition to the aforementioned thickeners, this disadvantage can also be observed with synthetic polymers.
In DE-OS 23 59 095 e.g. nonionic surfactants, especially tertiary amines, used as thickeners in sanitary cleaners. However, their storage stability is not sufficient.
In this writing stated that when using nonionic surfactants alone undesirably high concentrations of surfactants are to be used in order to achieve sufficient thickening.
From EP-A1-0 475 002 a sanitary cleaning agent is known which consists of 2 to 40 wt .-% acid, 2 to 10 wt .-% Cιo-C 18 fatty alcohol ethoxylate with 8 to 14 EO units and 2 to 10 wt .-% thickener, in which a Cιo -CC 8 fatty alcohol ethoxylate with 1 to 7 EO units is used and the free fatty alcohol content is below 5%. The examples in this document show that the viscosity decreases sharply when higher fatty alcohol contents are used. It is therefore necessary to use the starting products in high purity, which increases the costs of these products.
The object of the present invention is to provide aqueous cleaning agents which do not have the disadvantages arising from the known products over a long storage period and which can be prepared from raw materials of conventional technical quality and purity.
Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung sind wäßrige Reinigungsmittel, die ein Tensidgemisch aus nichtionischen Tensiden aus a) Ci2-C22-Alkoholalkoxylaten mit einem Alkoxylierungsgrad zwischen 6 und 15, b) Cι2-C22-Alkoholalkoxylaten mit einem Alkoxylierungsgrad zwischen 2 und 5 und c) Cιo-C15-Oxoalkoholalkoxylaten mit einem Alkoxylierungsgrad zwischen 5 und 15, undThe present invention relates to aqueous cleaning agents which contain a surfactant mixture of nonionic surfactants from a) Ci 2 -C 22 alcohol alkoxylates with a degree of alkoxylation between 6 and 15, b) C 2 -C 22 alcohol alkoxylates with a degree of alkoxylation between 2 and 5 and c ) Cιo-C 15 oxo alcohol alkoxylates with a degree of alkoxylation between 5 and 15, and
Säure enthalten.Contain acid.
Surprisingly, it was found that the surfactant mixture of the non-ionic surfactants a, b, and c, namely fatty alcohol alkoxylates with different degrees of alkoxylation and oxo alcohol alkoxylates, has a thickening effect in cleaning agents. Detergents can be obtained, the viscosity of which by dilution z. B. can be adjusted with water over a wide range customary in cleaning agents and which is stable over a long period of time even at the different pH values of these agents. The aqueous cleaning agents according to the invention preferably have a viscosity at 20 ° C. of 15 s to 90 s, measured in a Ford cup with an opening of 4 mm, which corresponds to a Brookfield viscosity of 20 mPas to 800 mPas Spindle 1 corresponds. If desired, the viscosity can also be chosen higher up to a gel-like consistency.

The examples show that the surfactant combination used according to the invention has a thickening effect on the cleaning agent. Only compounds that simultaneously contribute to the cleaning performance of the agents are used as thickeners.
