  • contact 23 cooperates with rib 30, on the face projecting in relation to wings 31, while contacts 26 cooperate with the opposite face of respective wings 31. Since the distance between the planes of the contact faces of terminal 3b is typically equal to the thickness of terminal 3a, deformation of blades 20, 21 upon insertion of terminal 3a or 3b is identical in both cases and hence results in the same contact pressure. Consequently, electric and mechanical performance of terminal 1 is identical in both cases.

Abstract

Une borne électrique femelle (1), conçue notamment pour les automobiles, est réalisée dans une feuille métallique conductrice et comprend une portion monobloc (4) de raccordement à un câble électrique (5), ainsi qu'un corps de contact (2) en forme de boîte, ce corps étant doté de moyens de contact (20, 21) coopérant avec les faces opposées d'une borne mâle complémentaire (3a, 3b), d'une paroi inférieure (6), d'une paroi supérieure (8) ainsi que d'une paire de côtés (16) déterminés par une paroi externe (7) et une paroi interne (15) tournée sur la paroi externe; les moyens de contact consistent en une paire de lames flexibles (21, 21) qui saillent des parois internes (15) des côtés (16), sont asymétriques par rapport au plan (α) de la borne mâle (3a, 3b) de manière à déterminer des zones de contact décalées sur les faces respectives de la borne mâle, et comprennent chacune des portions (24, 27) présentant au moins à peu près la même rigidité de flexion que les faces respectives de la borne mâle.
