Abstract

The invention relates to a number of stick-on elements forming a system which each bear a different pictogram. The system further contains a number of stick-on elements each bearing a different item of data and relating to the pictograms, in addition to a number of stick-on elements each bearing a different colour. The system can be used in filing away filing means. A pictogram relating to the documentation in the filing means concerning the activity can be adhered to the filing means and also be made recognizable by assigning a particular colour. The stick-on element with text can also be arranged on the filing means.

Description

SYSTEM OF STICK-ON ELEMENTS
During filing, wherein for instance document files and suspension folders are applied, there is the problem that assigning a place in the filing system for the document file or suspension folder provides difficulties. Further, it is frequently not clearly recognizable from the document file or suspension folder to what the content thereof relates. A particular classification is usually written on the spine of a document file, but this method of designation is not always unambiguous. Furthermore, writing notes on the document file spine or suspension folder and arranging the corresponding written note at a position in the filing system where the relevant document file or suspension folder must be placed requires much time and effort.
The invention has for its object to provide a system with which filing, recognition and replacing of filing means such as document files and suspension folders is considerably simplified.
This is achieved according to the invention by means of a system consisting of a number of stick-on elements each bearing a different pictogram, a number of stick-on elements each bearing a different item of data and relating to the pictogram, and a number of stick-on elements each bearing a different colour.
With such a system filing is considerably simplified. The pictogram relating to the activity whereof the documentation is stored in the relevant filing means, for instance document file or suspension folder, can be adhered to the relevant filing means. The classification under which this activity falls can also be designated with a particular colour which can likewise be adhered to the filing means.
Finally, the stick-on element with text can also be arranged on the filing means. In order to determine the correct location of the relevant filing means in the filing system a stick-on element with corresponding colour can be arranged at the relevant location in the filing system. When different filing means are used within the classification with the same colour, this can be indicated by adding a number to the element with the desired colour, this in the form of a stick-on element of a desired colour with number imprint. Thus obtained as a result of the system according to the invention is an unambiguous file system designation with a wide diversity.
The elements forming part of the system are preferably packaged integrally. An adherable document file spine or stick-on tab strip for a suspension folder can further be included in the packaging.
The invention will be elucidated with reference to a schematic embodiment. Figure 1 shows a loose leaf to which a number of pictograms is removably adhered; figure 2 shows a loose leaf to which is adhered a number of data-carrying elements; figure 3 shows a loose leaf to which is adhered a number of coloured elements; figure 4 shows a loose leaf to which is adhered a number of coloured elements provided with one or more numbers; and figure 5 shows a filing cabinet in which are placed document files with elements according to the invention.
The pictograms according to figure 1 can be adhered to a filing means, for instance a suspension folder or the spine of a document file, whereby a designation is provided relating to the content of the filing means. An item of text information relating to the content can also be added thereto by arranging an element according to figure 2 on the filing means. In addition a coloured element according to figure 3 can be adhered to the filing means, wherein a correspondingly coloured element can then be arranged at a determined location in the filing system in order to facilitate replacing of the filing means.
Making use of the elements according to figure 4 a desired further indication within coloured elements can be obtained by adhering the element to the filing means and by arranging the correspondingly numbered element at a determined location in the filing system.
As shown in figure 5, document file 1 for instance can be provided with the pictogram 2 (see figure 1) and carry the item of text from the element 3 provided with text of figure 2. An element 4 can further be adhered to the document file while a correspondingly coloured element 5 can be arranged on the shelf 6 of the filing cabinet. It will be apparent that, in addition to this example in the figures 1-3, other pictograms can find application as shown for instance on the shelf 7 of the filing cabinet.

Claims

1. System consisting of a number of stick-on elements each bearing a different pictogram, a number of stick-on elements each bearing a different item of data and relating to the pictogram, and a number of stick-on elements each bearing a different colour.
2. System as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the elements are packaged integrally.
3. System as claimed in claim 2, characterized in that the packaging further contains an adherable document file spine.
4. System as claimed in claim 2, characterized in that the packaging further contains an adherable tab spine.
5. System as claimed in claims 1-4, characterized in that the data consists of text.
6. System as claimed in claims 1-5, characterized in that pairs of the same numbers are added to the packaging.
7. System as claimed in claims 1-6, characterized in that the colour of the elements bearing a colour corresponds with that of the pictograms.
