Abstract

The system comprises sheets having a barrier coating and adhesive labels for carrying information detachably mounted on the sheets. The sheets with division pages bearing tabs are located in a ring binder. The sheets are 130-150 grams material. The system may be an address book or recipe holder.

Description

INFORMATION FILING SYSTEM.
This invention relates to an information filing system.
Information filing systems are well known ways of storing information. They are usually made of paper with a stiff outer cover and involve writing on the paper. Once the information is out of date, new entries on new sections of paper have to be made.
According to the present invention, there is a loose-leaf arrangement such as a ring binder with division pages with tabs. Sheets with barrier coating are inserted between the division pages. Normal barrier sheets carrying labels are 75 grams. The sheets used in this information filing system are more than 130 grams and preferably 150 grams. The adhesive labels with information stick to the specially barrier coated paper and can easily be taken on and off.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawing in which: Figure I shows in perspective the ring binder.
Figure 2 illustrates the file open and tabs on the division pages.
N.B. This can be an address book, recipe holder or used to store other information. It is not limited to a particular size.
Figure 3 shows the stickers, with information, attached to the barrier coated sheet

Claims (4)

  1. CLAIMS 1. An information filing system comprising a plurality of sheets of a substance coated with a barrier material, a cover, means for detachably attaching the sheets within the cover and a plurality of adhesive labels for detachable mounting on the sheets and for carrying information.
  2. 2. A system according to claim I in which the sheets are of 130 grams material.
  3. 3. A system according to claim 1 or claim 2 including division papers with tabs detachably mounted within the cover.
  4. 4. An information filing system substantially as described with reference or as illustrated in the accompanying drawings.
