Abstract
The notebook has pages 10 printed with horizontal lines which provide a grid for overlying transparent blank sheets 11 that can be releasably attached thereto by means of an adhesive strip. The sheets may be a shopping list.
Description
2340446 REUSABLE NOTEBOOK This invention relates to a reusable notebook
Notebooks are well known items of stationery comprising a number of paper pages bound together inside a more substantial cover. The pages inside a notebook generally have a design printed upon them for example equally spaced horizontal lines or rows and columns in a grid format. Notebooks are used to record information.
As information is recorded in a notebook, there is progressively less space available to record flu-ther information. Eventually, the notebook becomes full of information preventing the recording of any additional information.
According to the present invention there is provided a reusable notebook comprising a notebook with designed pages together with attachable unprinted sheets, the unprinted sheets being of such a constitution that when attached to the pages of the notebook, the design on the notebook page is clearly visible through the attached sheets, enabling information to be recorded directly onto the attached sheets in the format provided by the design of the page underneath.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawing in which:- Figure 1 shows a notebook opened at a certain double page; Figure 2 shows an attachable unprinted sheet with adhesive tape strip; Figure 3 shows a notebook with two attached unprinted sheets; Figure 4 shows a notebook with one clear and one complete attached sheets.
Referring to the drawing, the reusable notebook consists of a notebook of a number of pages each with a design printed upon it - horizontal lines in this case 10 and the attachable unprinted sheets of paper with adhesive tape strips 11.
The attachable unprinted sheet with adhesive tape strip 11 is attached to the notebook 10 as shown in figure 3 so that the design on the notebook page provides the visible stencil for recording information on the attached unprinted sheet.
Information is recorded on the attached unprinted page 11 as shown in figure 4 - in this case a shopping list.
Once the information on the attached unprinted page is of no further use, this sheet can be removed and replaced with another clear unprinted sheet making the notebook reusable.
Claims (3)
1. A reusable notebook comprising a notebook with designed pages together with attachable unprinted sheets, the unprinted sheets being of such a constitution that when attached to the pages of the notebook, the design on the notebook page is clearly visible through the attached sheets, enabling information to be recorded directly onto the attached sheets in the format provided by the design of the page underneath.
2. A reusable notebook as claimed in claim 1 wherein the attachable unprinted sheets have an adhesive tape strip.
3. A reusable notebook substantially as described herein with reference to figures I- 4 of the accompanying drawing.
