Abstract

L'invention concerne un élastomère à base d'isocyanate contenant une charge, la charge étant présente à raison de 30 % environ à 90 % environ du poids de l'élastomère et ayant un poids spécifique inférieur à 2,0 environ. On décrit également un procédé de préparation de l'élastomère à base d'isocyanate. Le procédé comporte les étapes consistant à: réaliser un premier mélange comprenant un catalyseur et une charge, la charge étant mouillée en surface par le catalyseur; réaliser un second mélange comprenant un isocyanate et un composé contenant de l'hydrogène actif, l'isocyanate et le composé contenant de l'hydrogène actif étant essentiellement sous une forme n'ayant pas réagi; mélanger le premier mélange et le second mélange afin d'obtenir un mélange réactionnel; et permettre au mélange réactionnel de réagir pour produire l'élastomère à base d'isocyanate.
