Abstract

Palette comprenant un plateau (3) porte-charge qui est pourvu de nervures transversales de renforcement (2), et qui est soutenu, au moins au niveau de ses bords ou côtés (5) opposés les plus longs, par des poutres de support (4) qui s'étendent de façon perpendiculaire par rapport aux nervures de renforcement du plateau et qui comprennent un espace intermédiaire dans lequel des fourches de levage peuvent être introduites à partir des côtés de la palette. Les poutres et le plateau sont fabriqués à partir de tôle ondulée, ces ondulations (2) formant les nervures de renforcement du plateau et s'étendant le long des côtés des poutres de support. Le côté interne (11) de chaque poutre de support forme un pied de support qui agit sur la surface inférieure (13) du plateau, et les parties terminales (12) des pieds respectifs qui font face à la surface inférieure du plateau sont bloquées en une position généralement perpendiculaire par rapport au plateau (3), dans une rainure de verrouillage (14) pratiquée dans un rail (15) monté sur la surface inférieure du plateau. Afin d'améliorer la stabilité et la résistance aux chocs de palettes de ce type, et afin de leur permettre d'être aisément transportées sur des transporteurs à rouleaux, un certain nombre d'entretoises (33) supportant les poutres (4) sont placées entre celles-ci.
