If a cast floor slab is to constitute the floor, it is advantageous first to raise element 2 and pour concrete into it, and, once the concrete has set, first to fit a ground insulation 5 on the inside of the element and then cast a concrete floor slab 6 over the ground insulation so that the side edge of the slab rests against the outside of one of the insulating panels of wall element 2, as a result of which the floor slab is cast without any special mould and insulated also in its edge region. This is shown in Fig. 3.

Nor is it necessary for all spaces provided for concrete columns to be filled with concrete, for instance if windows are to be opened up in these positions at a later stage.

Abstract

Elément de construction servant à la fois d'élément de support et de moule et comportant des panneaux isolants autoporteurs dressés sur leurs bords et installés à une certaine distance les uns des autres, le volume compris entre eux étant rempli de béton. Ledit élément de construction (2) s'étend sans interruption dans le sens vertical en longeant au moins un étage en sous-sol ou au rez-de-chaussée, et comporte au moins une colonne verticale en béton (B3) entourée de panneaux isolants (2a, 2b) et d'éléments isolants (4) intercalés entre ces derniers.
