Abstract
L'invention se rapporte à un procédé de fabrication de pièces frittées à résistance élevée dans lequel une poudre d'acier mélangée avec 0,3 à 0,7 % en poids de poudre de graphite, atomisée à l'eau et réduite par recuit est comprimée par moulage, lesquels comprimés obtenus sont frittés à une température située entre 1120° et 1280 °C puis trempés par refroidissement et enfin soumis à un revenu. Afin d'indiquer un procédé permettant de produire des pièces frittées à résistance élevée qu'il n'est pas nécessaire de tremper dans un bain d'huile pour les durcir, on propose de donner la composition suivante à la poude d'acier - max. 0,02 % C, max. 0,03 % Si, 0,05 - 0,25 % Mn, 2,5 - 5,0 % Ni, 0,2 - 1,5 % Mo - le reste en fer et impuretés habituelles, de comprimer les produits à une pression atteignant au moins 6,9 g/cm3, de les refroidir par bain de gaz situé dans la zone de refroidissement du four de frittage, à partir de la température de frittage et d'effectuer l'opération de revenu finale à une température située entre 180° et 500 °C pendant une durée de 30 à 90 minutes.
