Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à une structure de fauteuil roulant pliable (10) et plus particulièrement à un tel fauteuil roulant pliable autour d'axes transversaux à son axe longitudinal. La structure (10) du fauteuil comprend une partie dossier (11), une partie inférieure (12) articulée par une extrémité arrière à une extrêmité inférieure de la partie dossier (11), une partie siège (13) articulée par une extrêmité postérieure à la partie dossier en un point intermédiaire entre ses extrémités, ainsi qu'une partie frontale (14) articulée par son extrémité supérieure à la partie siège (13) en un point distal par rapport à son extrémité postérieure. La partie frontale (14) peut être fixée amovible par une extrémité inférieure à l'extrémité fontale de la partie inférieure (12) et toutes les articulations pivotantes peuvent pivoter autour d'axes sensiblement perpendiculaires à l'axe longitudinal de la structure (10) du fauteuil roulant. Ces différentes parties constituant la structure du fauteuil roulant sont de préférence formées à partir d'éléments tubulaires en plastique synthétique réunis par des joints tubulaires en plastique synthétique. Une telle structure comprend également de préférence: des accoudoirs (38), un mécanisme de freinage (51), un dispositif d'adaptation de siège de toilette et un organe (32) permettant un démontage facile des roues du fauteuil roulant.
