Abstract

Eine digitale Hängeuhr - beispielsweise für Bahnhöfe bestimmt - wird zylindrisch (1) ausgebildet, und die Zeitzahlen (2) werden vertikal übereinander und mehrfach nebeneinander angeordnet. Ein zentrales Werk steuert die räumlich angeordnete Vielfachzeitanzeige simultan. Durch eine solche Gestaltung einer Hängeuhr wird erreicht, dass die Uhrzeit aus allen Richtungen rasch und mühelos ablesbar ist, was besonders für Flughäfen, Bahnhöfe, grosse Hallen etc. Vorteile bringt. Die zentrale Steuerung bedeutet, dass der Aufbau der erfindungsgemässen Uhr einfach und funktionssicher ist, und dass die Herstellkosten relativ niedrig gehalten werden können.
