Abstract

Procédé et appareil pour fabriquer en continu un élément allongé (10) à partir d'une matière compressible. Une matière plastique est amenée dans un espace où elle est comprimée. La matière comprimée est pressée vers un second espace (7), défini par une matrice (5), où la matière (10) se solidifie. Les parois de la matrice (5) sont mobiles l'une vers l'autre. On obtient une partie au moins de l'énergie thermique requise pour amener la matière plastique à un état visqueux ou liquéfié en commandant la vitesse d'un dispositif d'alimentation à vis (4) qui fait partie du dispositif de compression.
