Abstract
A chain guide for a chain saw for making joints in masonry in which a dampproof course is inserted consists of a so-called guide bar which connects the drive and deflecting wheels for the chain. The chain is guided in a groove which runs along approximately the whole length of the guide bar on both longitudinal edges of the guide bar. The lateral ridges which delimit the chain guide groove laterally have recesses through which the debris is extracted.
Description
KETTENFUHRUNG EINER KETTENSAGE CHAIN GUIDE OF A CHAIN SAGE
The invention relates to the chain guide in a chainsaw for the production of joints in masonry, into which moisture insulation is introduced, the chain guide being formed by a so-called sword, which connects the drive and deflection wheel for the chain, in which the chain in one Groove is guided, which extends approximately over the entire length of the sword on both longitudinal wheels of the same.
Chainsaws have the advantage that they can be used in the production of wall joints even in confined spaces, since they can be transported and easily handled by one person. In addition, due to their design, they are suitable for cuts with a small joint width, which can be made in any, ie, without any technical effort. preferably horizontal or vertical direction can be produced. With conventional chainsaws for working stone, masonry and the like. Clearing material such as dust and granular masonry material settles in the guideway for the chain. This leads to increased wear of the chain and also of the sword, especially since the usual lubrication or cooling of the chain is impaired. This leads to reduced downtime for the chain and sword. To avoid these disadvantages, the side webs according to the invention have the groove for the chain guide limit laterally, recesses through which the waste material is discharged.
Due to the recesses according to the invention in the side webs, which laterally limit the guide groove for the chain, the clearing material which arises during the production of wall joints can flow away. The size of the recesses is huge! chosen so that there is no relevant reduction in the strength properties of the sword or its edge region.
Of course, the recesses in the side webs can be made in any shape. However, the recesses preferably consist of round holes, ie bores or elongated holes, which are produced, for example, simply by means of a finger cutter and, in particular, can be retrofitted to commercially available chainsaws in the edge region of the sword. However, the recesses can also be rectangular, square, trapezoidal or triangular, these shapes advantageously being punched out during the manufacture of the sword. The object of the invention is also to guide the recesses to the edge of the side webs so that they do not have a closed border, but are open towards the longitudinal edge of the sword. Such recesses can also be easily retrofitted to commercially available chainsaws. Finally, the recesses can be even Intervals are arranged or are set closer together in increasing direction of the chain. In this way, the debris material that increases in the direction of the chain circulation is better discharged from the guide groove. With all recess shapes, the recesses should extend to the base surface of the groove, that is to say the surface which delimits the groove next to the side webs. This avoids that debris can accumulate in the corners formed by the side webs and the base surface.
