  • the operator is able to stand very close to the basket wall without being interferred with the swin ⁇ ging arm 15, as said arm with its angular-shaped part 18 in position A is extending outside the basket wall, while it in position C for the same reasons is remaining at a distance from the basket wall 12 in such a way that the operator may stand between the basket wall 12 and the part 18 of the swinging arm and at the same time, the nozzle 20 practically can extend in the extension of the basket wall 12.
  • the operator is able to keep full control over the nozzle 20 in all possible positions occuring during the practical work, and at the same time it is possible to change the spraying direction in an easy and rapid way.
  • the mobility of the angular swinging arm With the mobility of the nozzle suspension, it is practically possible to reach a working field of 360°, thus it is for instance possible to work on the tail as well as a wing of an aircraft from a single position of the vehicle. Minor changes of the spraying direction can be carried out by means of the swivel 19 alone, while greater changes easily can be carried out by swinging the swinging arm 15 into other starting positions as indi ⁇ cated in Fig. 3.

Abstract

Le dispositif actif décrit, qui permet de manoeuvrer manuellement une buse de vaporisation régulable (20), depuis une plateforme d'exploitation ouverte (9) entourée par des éléments latéraux de délimitation (10), en particulier pour le dégivrage d'avions, comprend un bras pivotant (15) destiné à pivoter sur un plan essentiellement horizontal de façon à parcourir la limite supérieure des éléments (10, 11, 12). L'une des extrémités du bras est destinée à être suspendue pivotante à l'un des éléments latéraux de délimitation (10, 11, 12). Le bras pivotant (15) a une forme angulaire concave sur le plan horizontal et la longueur du bras pivotant (15) est supérieure à toutes les dimensions transversales de la plate-forme d'exploitation (9) entourée par ses éléments latéraux de délimitation (10, 11, 12). L'autre extrémité du bras oscillant angulaire (15) est pourvue d'une assise pivotante (9) pour la buse de vaporisation (20), l'assise étant reliée à une poignée de manoeuvrage (21) s'étendant dans le sens du bras oscillant (15).
