LEICHTZUSCHLAG FÜR BETON LIGHT SURCHARGE FOR CONCRETE
The invention relates to a method for producing a porous light aggregate as well as a porous light aggregate itself and lightweight concrete structures or elements which are manufactured using the aforementioned light aggregate.
A wide variety of materials have already been proposed as porous light aggregates for lightweight concrete, e.g. sintered fly ash, hut pumice, granulated slag, broken foam lava and the like. Moreover, it is known to use porous, absorbent substances such as vermiculite or perlite, as well as foam glass grains (DE-GM 19 58 264) that are not absorbent Easy to use. According to DE-GM 71 30 969, coarse-grained natural pumice or expanded clay with gypsum as a binder are to be processed into lightweight building boards. Furthermore, it has become known from DE-OS 25 24 147 to produce gypsum-bonded lightweight building boards using porous lightweight aggregates, which are said to consist of broken or waste material from steam-hardened gas concrete comminuted into chippings.
Expanded clay is currently also being used to a greater extent as a lightweight aggregate for lightweight concrete. It is made from natural clay by blowing and burning and mostly has a spherical grain shape and a fine pore structure. However, the aforementioned light supplements have the disadvantage that they are either relatively expensive and / or have to be specially produced in places where the basic material is available in sufficient quantities, or that they are produced as waste materials in the manufacture of industrial products or that they are first obtained as relatively rare natural products, sometimes with considerable effort, and then mostly have to be procured on long transport routes. Such conditions stand in the way of poorly developed locations or locations far away from industrial areas, for example in underdeveloped countries.
The invention has for its object to provide a light impact with a grain shape similar to natural gravel, which is easy, simple and economical to produce anywhere, without the need for a complex and extensive machine park and which all to him demands with regard to good thermal insulation as well as sufficient strength and durability.
The invention thus relates on the one hand on the spezi¬ fishing porous Leichtzusc was on the other hand to a method for the production thereof, but how or -ele duck, takes concrete structure on Leicht¬ for as concrete aggregate of erfιndungsgema 'SSE Le chtzusc was used.
To achieve this object, it is proposed according to the invention to take those measures which are the subject of the claims. The light aggregate according to the invention can be obtained in a very simple manner as follows: By mixing in an aqueous air foam produced with the aid of a foam generator from a foam former solution into a cement slurry (cement paste), a foam cement with a bulk density of produced about 200 to 600 kg / m.
The fresh foam cement is then placed in molds or in an elongated, trough-shaped bed, where it solidifies and hardens due to the hydration of the cement.
The mass produced in the manner mentioned with a very high pore content is then suitably comminuted by cutting or breaking or the like so far that the largest grain is about 25 mm. To round off the grains to give them a spherical shape, they can be ground, e.g. by sending them through a rotating drum.
The entire material resulting from the disintegration, if appropriate after classification, can be used as a supplement for the production of light concrete building blocks with good thermal insulation. An excess of fine material with a grain size of 0 to about 2 mm is advantageously sieved and separated. It can be used for the production of mortar, e.g. can be used as insulating insulating plaster or as grout for filling the joints between lightweight concrete structures or elements.
To produce lightweight concrete, the lightweight aggregate grains produced in the manner described above are suitable grain compositions with cement, mixing water and optionally further light or normal aggregates and optionally mixed with concrete admixtures and / or concrete admixtures. This is done in a concrete mixer, as usual and conveniently. The ready-to-use mixture is filled at the place of use as light concrete in a formwork, or it is introduced into molds for the production of lightweight precast elements or elements, such as hollow blocks, solid blocks, slabs and the like.
As a rule, the light aggregates obtained according to the invention meet the strength requirements for the production of highly heat-insulating lightweight concrete. However, if higher demands are made on the strength of the porous grains, this can be achieved by coating the grains with one, two or possibly three layers of cement stone. This is done in the simplest way either by covering the grains with cement glue or by dusting the sufficiently moist or moistened grains with cement or by rolling them in cement so as to produce a solid shell which increases the grain strength by hardening the cement.
Die Vorzüge des Vorschlags gemäß der Erfindung sind offen- si cht li ch :The advantages of the proposal according to the invention are obvious:
For the production of the lightweight aggregate, materials are used which, as far as cement and water are concerned, are available at every construction site anyway and, as far as it is a foam liner or other additives, can be easily and inexpensively transported anywhere. because they are only needed in very small quantities. By using the light aggregates produced according to the invention, aggregate-light lightweight concrete and lightweight concrete with a closed structure can be produced with dry raw densities of approximately 500 to 1800 kg / m, these concretes having favorable thermal insulation properties, particularly in the low bulk density range. In addition, they are non-flammable and weatherproof enough.
The applicability of the invention is explained in more detail below with the aid of a few exemplary embodiments.
