Abstract

Afin de joindre deux longueurs de papier continu dotées de trous d'alignement espacés parallèlement à leurs bords longitudinaux, on positionne les deux longueurs sur un support (1) sur lequel sont placés deux ensembles de picots d'alignement (2) et (3) de sorte que ces derniers (2) et (3) sont engagés dans les trous d'alignement dans une longueur respective des longueurs de papier, et de manière que les deux bords terminaux des longueurs de papier à joindre soient alignés. Les longueurs de papier sont alors serrées avec leurs bords terminaux alignés sur le support (1) au moyen d'un élément de serrage (8), qui pivote vers le bas jusque dans sa position de préhension dans laquelle il entre en contact avec les deux longueurs de papier. Les bords terminaux sont alors joints par une longueur de ruban adhésif déroulée d'un distributeur de ruban adhésif (13), et le long de laquelle se trouvent des perforations. La jointure des longueurs de papier de cette manière permet d'assurer que l'alimentation de papier à une imprimante ne s'épuise pas sur un long passage d'impression.
