Abstract

Des réseaux de commutateurs optiques et les règles de conception servant à les créer sont décrits. Lesdits réseaux comprennent plusieurs étages d'entrée (84) et de sortie (88) de commutateurs optiques. En utilisant ces étages, on peut construire des réseaux de commutateurs optiques dans lesquels les commutateurs sont connectés entre eux par des guides d'ondes optiques répartis dans un substrat. Les connexions entre des étages adjacents comportent en outre des croisements (points de traversée) de guides d'ondes optiques.
