Abstract

Soupape de détente et coupleur pneumatique intégrés utilisés sur une remorque de camion pour transmettre la pression des freins à air comprimé d'un véhicule tracteur à la remorque de celui-ci. Une partie du coupleur appelée ''gladhand'' est utilisée pour la connection rapide, avec une partie du coupleur identique, fixée sur le tuyau de pression venant du véhicule tracteur. Un mécanisme de soupape de retenue est incorporé dans le corps de la partie du coupleur de la remarque pour permettre le passage de l'air vers les freins lorsque la pression venant du véhicule tracteur est supérieure à la pression dans les canalisations de freins de la remorque, et pour permettre le passage de l'air depuis les canalisations de freins dans l'atmosphère lorsque la pression venant du véhicule tracteur est diminuée. La soupape de détente intégrée et la partie du coupleur pneumatique peuvent être montés à l'avant de la remorque là où l'on juge que la soupape de détente est la plus efficace.
