Abstract

Elément de pompe d'injection dans lequel l'injection de carburant est commandée par un piston (3) au moins, lequel se meut dans un cylindre (2) et qui définit au-dessus du piston une chambre ou espace (12) dans laquelle ou lequel le carburant à injecter est mis sous pression. L'objet de l'élément de pompe est de permettre à la pression du carburant d'injection d'augmenter dans la chambre (12) à une vitesse relativement faible de préférence à bas régime du moteur, de manière à réduire ce que l'on appelle le retard à l'allumage. L'invention est principalement caractérisée par le fait que la paroi du cylindre comporte au moins un trou (14) par lequel le carburant, comprimé au cours du mouvement ascendant du piston (3), passe dans le cylindre (2).
