Abstract

Ecrou composite (M) pour un assemblage écrou/boulon dont le but principal est de faciliter le démontage d'un écrou sur un boulon fortement corrodé et qui offre l'avantage d'un blocage supplémentaire de l'assemblage écrou/boulon lors du montage. L'écrou composite est réalisé en trois parties (M1, M2, M3), l'écrou principal (M1, M2) étant divisé axialement en deux moitiés. Lors du montage, les deux moitiés sont placées sur le filetage du boulon et sont ensuite maintenues ensemble par le serrage de l'écrou de blocage (M3) sur la partie extérieure filetée de l'écrou principal. Le couple de blocage de l'écrou composite s'obtient en serrant l'écrou principal avec l'écrou de blocage contre l'objet devant être fixé. Le blocage est obtenu par un serrage supplémentaire de l'écrou de blocage. Pour défaire l'écrou composite, on dévisse l'écrou de blocage pour le séparer de l'écrou principal, ce dernier étant retiré en tapant légèrement sur chacune des moitiés, lesquelles ne doivent donc pas être dévissées du boulon.
