Abstract
Un conduit d'air pour systèmes de distribution d'air, tel qu'un conduit de ventilation, est constitué de plusieurs sections de conduit allongées (1) en matériau incombustible. Chaque section du conduit comprend une section de conduit allongée (5, 6) munie d'une ouverture (29), qui est orientée parallèlement le long de l'axe longitudinal de l'élément du conduit et qui a la même longueur que la section du conduit, ladite ouverture pouvant être fermée au moyen d'un couvercle (12), qui est reliée de façon étanche à la section du conduit et qui s'étend sur toute la longueur de l'élément du conduit. Le couvercle (12) est relié à l'élément de conduit (5, 6) au moyen d'une connexion mobile pourvue d'un joint en matériau incombustible ou fusible conçu pour éclater ou fondre à la suite d'un incendie, de telle sorte que le couvercle puisse basculer sous l'effet de son propre poids loin de la section de conduit (5, 6), lors de l'éclatement du joint à la suite d'un incendie, ce qui permet alors au conduit de s'ouvrir et de libérer la pression.
