Abstract
The device consists of a clip which can be inserted in the soap tablet and of a piece of soap having especially adapted recess for insertion of the clip. The clip is fixed in the soap to prevent the latter from softening at the place where it is deposited as a result of the water flowing therefrom after use. This is achieved by providing it with a special shape, whereby the adhesion forces are rendered inactive and at the same time a pleasant sensation is provided during the washing process. The advantages of fresh soap can therefore be enjoyed without any unpleasant greasiness. Plastic designs enable in particular soap producers to use the clip in addition for advertising purposes by applying the name or emblem of the firm. An appropriate recess in the soap reinforces the function of the clip.
Description
The device consists of a clip that can be inserted into the soap and a piece of soap with a specially adapted recess for inserting the clip.
A soap that is greasy due to frequent use and unsuitable storage is unpleasant and wears out quickly. The soap manufacturers try to counteract this by shaping with small contact surfaces, but this cannot be prevented. Shelves with nubs rub the wet soap and smear very quickly. They actually do the opposite of their purpose, but have been on the market for decades. Magnetic holders are the better solution, but they have to be installed in place, making them not portable and not always trouble-free. When rings are worn, metal rubs against metal. The metal insert also has a disruptive effect, since it comes out unpleasantly angular when the soap is washed off.
The following describes a simple, very inexpensive way to prevent the soap from softening on the shelf. The advantages of a fresh soap can thus be used without unpleasant smearing. The dehydration caused by storage, which is often used by consumers as a remedy, can also be dispensed with.
Die Oberflächenspannung des Wassers reißt noch unterhalb der Platte ab 2.An object, hereinafter called a soap clip, is described in a round or elongated shape, which is constructed in such a way that it is inserted into a bar of soap, as shown in FIG. 1, to prevent it from softening and smearing on the shelf. It should be useful, also because of the price, made of plastic material of medium hardness and can be used again and again. The clip must be hand-friendly and has the task of ensuring that the liquid that runs off contacts the soap prevent. Both are achieved by inclined 1 or better still round step-shaped paragraph 2. A simple plate, as shown in Fig. 2, can not prevent water contact by adhesion, since softened soap smears the edges 3, so that the contact with the water soon again is made. It would also have to be designed to be uncomfortably high. Even a pure bevel 1 is still more susceptible to smearing than a step-shaped indentation 2. The forces of adhesion cannot take effect via the step shape up to the soap. The surface tension of the water tears off below the plate 2.
It is also important that the foot is shaped as a flat swing 4 all around. As a result, the clip not only adapts to every shelf, the curves also significantly support the removal of the surface tension from the water and it can also be kept flatter and more flexible.
The clip is firmly held in the soap by a network of webs as shown in a top view in FIG. 3. In a soft soap, all-round upstand alone does not provide the necessary hold, since the softening effect of water is strongest here and the edge cannot be extended too high. The second web ring and the divided fields under the clip prevent it from softening due to infiltrating water. The webs, connecting to the individual fields, are provided with narrow air slots, as shown in FIG. 4, in order to escape enclosed air. Since these clog up immediately, there are no disadvantages in practice. Due to the field-connecting slots, a tilted insertion cannot catch an air cushion.
The reasonably priced plastic version offers soap manufacturers in particular the opportunity to use the clip in a special version. If manufacturing methods and costs make it possible, the clip can also be used as a thin film, directly connected to the soap for single use. In this case, the space-filling soap provides the necessary stability that the clip itself must provide. In order not to allow the edge of the clip to emerge too quickly through the washing-up process, this edge is inserted into a soap recess, which is correspondingly recessed in relation to the edge zone.
The number of soap molds allows the use of a uniform, neutral clip, which is simply pressed into the damp soap, even without a recess.
The soap is very smooth and slippery when wet. The clip gives it even better slip resistance.
The correct placing of the soap on the clip, like so many daily operations, takes over the subconscious after the second to third time.
